Everyone needs to keep in mind that we are all "test pilots" when it comes to these KT266A boards. It took ASUS three (3) revisions of their KT133A boards to get it right. Mobo makers can't possible test every single hardware combo, there are just too many choices for things that...
I have been reading a lot of troubles with your mobo and running WIN XP with an XP AMD. I would hop on over to Epox and see if theres a bios update.
Also I hear that your mobo, an AMD XP, WIN XP, and a GForce 2/3 card dont like each other....this came from the fourms on amdmb.com.
Basically all of the post did nothing...sorry, not trying to flame anyone here....BUT
Some say its a WIN 98/ME problem...but the users with the troubles are using WIN XP.
So whos at fault here??

Personally I plan on running under WIN XP PRO with the KT266A VIA chipset.
One DDR of 512 is very expensive....would be nice to get it to run with 3x 256mbs.
What about using 2400 DDR memory...same thing?
I have heard from several users that they are having trouble getting their mobo's to work with the new XP's and more then 512MB of ram.
Has anyone else heard this?
I plan on buying an XP with 768 on the mobo....thanks for your input.
