BIOS Flash disaster!

After following the advice given in this post, I decided to update my mobo to the latest BIOS. I downloaded the flash utility and latest update from ASUS. I followed the instructions... I backed up my old BIOS and flashed the new one. Everything went fine... I got no error messages, everything...

Thanks gump47371, that sounds really encouraging. Were they only able to get their insurance because of the temporary car deal with you dad? Or would they still have been able to get it had they purchased it outright?

I think I'll print out this thread as reference when I come to route plan. :) Of course if the whole car thing doesn't work out, I guess Greyhound's the only viable way of getting around the country. Don't think I could stand to go all the was from NY to SF by coach though! I guess we'll stick...

Sorry, I realise you guys aren't insurance experts, but I don't know who to ask! Who'd give me advice about such things? My insurance company were no use, all they could tell me is they didn't offer it!

Thanks for the tips. Even if it wasn't illegal to drive without insurance, I wouldn't consider it. The problem is, that my insurance policy for my car here only covers me for the EU. Would it be possible to be insured with an American firm, or would I have to have a US residential address etc...

M2P file format...

I've seen that, and it doesn't mean much to me! It's weird though, if I rename it to mp2, it plays in Winamp, but really mucked up. Though I can make out some guitar.

M2P file format...

Could anyone tell me what the m2p file format is? I'm going through an old HD in order to wipe it, and have come across a large file (130megs) named "Live in NY.m2p" With this name and size I'm guessing some form of video? What do I watch it with to see if it's worth keeping? Thanks.

I've just got my hands on an old Compaq Deskpro, I'm going to use it as a Linux internet gateway. Anyway, it's in one of those titchy Compaq cases (pictured here, the small desktop one). It's one of those with two horizontal card backing plates. My problem is, I can't for the life of me work...

What was your point in showing that the population of Israel is comparatively small? (Which is what I guess you were doing with your Boston statement). I presumed that it was to show that 427 is a higher proportion of Israeli population than I might imagine. All I was trying to so was point out...

Even so... in 1999, Israel's Death Rate per 1000 was 6.6. So aprox. 40,000 people a year were dying a year due to other causes. Now when you consider that this conflict has added about 165 people per year to this... it doesn't seem to be quite so catastrophic as the impression I previously had.

Alas, this monitor wont stretch to that. Maxes out at 90Hz, with 85Hz recommended. Just out of interest... how much would you expect to pay for a perfect condition, second hand 10 80 15?

Duh... I'm an idiot. :) I've just notced some markings on the pin side. There is a code: FV80503233 And a voltage: 2.8V I'm guessing that the 233 on the end of the coed means 233Mhz, and I haven't been duped?
