I have P2 400's and a friend has P3 600's on the PDB running Win 2k. Another friend has P2 400's with Win XP. The Front Side Bus is only 100MHz. PDB-R Specs
The shipping is a little steep $11.95. These are good prices for really nice Slot I Workstation MoBo's. I ordered the PDB-R (includes RAID) for $10 more. I already have the PDB and really like it. Link

Dell's Precision line are Workstations. The 410's came with processors from 350 mhz to 700 mhz (all 100 mhz bus). 410 Specs
I am sure the picture in the add is a Dimension. I'd guess that they are actually selling a Dimension XPS R400 or 450.
The XPS R line has three DIMM slots with a 384...
I'd advise purchasing a name brand PC that comes with a three year warrantee for your customer.
While building your own PC is far more fun, in the long run you and your customer are better off with a name brand PC.
I don't know if you have made the sale yet, but most large companies rely on name...

These combo cards are very convinient. They take up two PCMCIA slots and may not work on all older than 200 mhz laptops.
This price is the lowest and definately worth the gamble buying...
This is a pretty sweet deal if the Mobo is decent. This is definately a good price.
I had heard that PCchips was not one of the better Mobo makers. I believe some Emachines are built with PCchips boards.
Anybody have this Mobo or know anything more about it?
The only $30 off $100 codes I could find expired 11/30/01.
As soon as I can get my order to go through I'll buy the drive with $20 off. $39 after rebate is good enough for me.
This is a nice deal. Thanks, WildDreamer !
The OD's site must be getting hammered. I can't place an order. I'll just have to search for a $30 coupon while waiting.
I need to setup a group that limits its members to certain programs and access to the floppy only in those programs. Is it even possible to limit users on a machine from using the floppy.
Recently purchased a Gateway MP440BX for an extra P2 400 processor I had. I have setup a decent little system without any problems. I found an updated bios on Gateway's site, but was wondering if anybody has found a non OEM bios flash for this board. I have searched Intel's site, but did not...
Dell refurb's are covered by the same 3 year warranties of the new systems and are normally a pretty safe bet and a great deal. They are normally returned units and canceled sales. Following your link I did not see any information regarding the save $100. However after reviewing the fine...

I'm not trying to dump on this deal, because this is a good deal, but Floydian posted a similar deal for Kodak Gold CDr's for just about the same price each (just over 50 cents each) and the deal is still available. In my opinion these Gold's are the best.

Does anybody know if an ATA100 drive be used with an ATA66 controller? I really don't want to buy a controller card, and I would be happy with an ATA66 for this price.
