Are the fan holders any good? I am going to put in 4 80mm fans and was wondering if there would be alot of vibration between the two plastics. seems too easy to be trusted.

I am making a fanbus and will be using potentiometers to regulate the voltage going to the fans. The question is what level of resistance should I get with the potentiometer? I am probably going to purchase them here, but I don't know which to get. thanks,

Are rounded cables worth it?

Therehave been issues with data corruption, but almost everysingle hd comes with preventative measures that correct the problem. I have 2 ide rounded cables, and one rounded floppy and I have yet to see any problems. I personally like the way they look and they give alot of extra space.

If money is no object to you then silencers are the way to go! Just a reminder though, silencers are about $ 20, while panaflos are like $2.49. You are looking at a difference of $17 for an extra 4 cfm and 1 dba quieter.

<< Seems overpriced. I may be mistaken, but it looks like that cheap flimsy metal that a lot of the sellers on ebay are letting go for $20-$30 shipped. I would recommend that aopen case if you need the hdd space. Just relocate that bay where the hdd mount elsewhere in the case. Poprivitting...

Hmmm, I just bought the 1700xp retail + Case+ PSU+ MOBO for 199(225aftertax). Should I return it and wait for a better deal to come along??? Then again, look at what happend to memory, you used to get it free after rebates.
