Your voltages all look fine to me, though a decent digital multimeter could put your doubts to rest. The -12 isn't used by your system at all, so don't worry about that. As for your issue, are you overclocking? If not, check all your connections. Also, disable all the windows power options...

Practical Benefits of Overclocking

I see alot of synthetic benchmarks there and no reasonable game scores (Read: Games that people actually play at reasonable resolutions). I'm not going to say that overclocking doesn't provide real world results. It certainly does. But for the average gamer it isn't going to make any difference...

Best case in terms of cooling for SLI?

Usually TCCD chips are rated 2-2-2-5. So yes, i'd say you have TCCD memory. I don't know the PCB but really just enjoy your memory and don't fret over what the memory nuts feel is important. Your Corsair memory is just fine.

A 64 with PC 3200 RAM: A waste?

Your 2 512MB sticks will work just fine. I would not recommend installing the PC2700 stick though. Even if you want to overclock your processor it willl work as you can select a memory devider to keep your memory at PC3200 speeds. Dual channel memory is nothing more than a marketing gimick...

Is G. Skill ram any good?

G.skill uses Samsung TCCD memory chips. TCCD are best used as high HTT(FSB) with loose RAM timings. CAS has very little effect on performance, 2, 2.5, 3 are all fine (use the lowest you can get away with and still have stability of course). Anyway, yes. G.skill with TCCD does seem to overclock...

To Socket 939 or not to....

Just stick with what you have. Overclocking isn't going to make or break your system anyway. Remember this experience next time you upgrade your computer. It pays to do some research before buying.

CD/DVD writer on IDE SLAVE question

Remove all drives and only put your 120GB Seagate back on as secondary slave. If it fails to recognise then it would seem you have a faulty secondary controller. If not, it's likely you need a bigger power supply.

Yes, sorry. I meant in device manager in safe mode. Remove everything from the cd/dvd drives section even if everything looks peachy. If it shows, remove the seagate as well.

Try booting into safe mode and deleting the drive listings there. At least remove the drive listings that are on the secondary controller. If that doesn't work I would try the drive as primary slave and see if you have similar issues with one of your other hard drives as secondary slave...

I would advise against putting a DVD writer as slave. It will still work but not to its full potential. You really should list why you can't put it as master, maybe there is another device in the chain that the DVD writer should take precedence over.

Anyone has ever ruined a pc cause of a water colling malfunction??

I do NOT use a watercooling setup but I would assume they do not pump electrically conductive material (water+electricity=bad). My guess is they use Deionized water or some sort of non-conductive coolant. I would suggest google and you'll prolly find out more about water cooling than you...

If you plan on overclocking, definitely go with the better RAM. If you're not OC'ing, I'd go with the 3400+ and $150 RAM.

I haven't been reading anything good about the MSI lately. I'd go with the ASUS nF3 board personally. EDIT: or the DFI Lanparty board, but it's really hard/impossible to get ahold of right now. Probably gonna be a couple weeks until those are available again.

Recommend great a64 Socket 754 HSF please

Thermalright XP-120 This thing is big so you might have a problem getting it to fit on your motherboard. I'm kind of a 120mm freak so it stands out to me.

Have you tried 5v? Most fans cut out around the 4v mark I believe. Not sure why it would stop just by removing the case side though.

What would you do, which system config?

I'd personally stick with the S754. Right now the selection of boards for S939 is lackluster to put it mildly. Plus, the miniscule performance gains are not worth the extra dough.
