Cheapest Per Page Black & White Printer? I don't need a scanner, color or bells and whistles. I want a simple, easy to use printer that can print lots of letters cheaply.
Looking at these:
Brother’s Inkvestment
Epson® Ecotank
Right now I'm leaning towards this:
Brother HL-L2350DW

Laptop CPU's are plenty powerful for what I do. I'd like to put a 15W TDP cpu in my desktop. Is this possible? Where can I buy one? I can't seem to find them on newegg.com or amazon.
Something like the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U would be perfect.
https://www.amd.com/en/products/ryzen-processors-laptop
I currently have a laptop w/ Intel i5-6300U. This is plenty of speed for me and it uses only 15 W. I'm looking for a newer model.
I do not need anything faster. The most I do is excel and youtube. If there is something that has the same speed an less power I'll prefer that. I like robust...
Do any motherboards for Ryzen still have integrated graphics?
Or do they all depend on you getting an APU or discrete graphics card?
I wouldn’t mind having a 6 core Ryzen with integrated graphics mobo. Not sure that exists. Not from a top company like Asus from what I can tell.
It doesn't have to be on the same screen. I just need to be able to scribble and then share via webex. And my boss needs to be able to do the same. If we scribble on the same board that's a plus, but not mandatory. So your drawing pad + paint would be an improvement from where I'm at.
I'm doing webex conferences with co-workers over the internet. The #1 issue we have is we can't just grab a scratch pad and doodle something out. Do you guys have any recommendations on what both parties can buy so we can draw stuff on the screen in real time? As easy as drawing something...
Looking for a computer that is snappy enough to handle video editing but not an energy hog. Just balancing power with electrical bills as I leave my computer on 24/7.
Currently using this cpu that was released Feb 2009 and it's a bit underpowered:
AMD Phenom II X3 720

Two questions:
Q1) Reagrdless of price, what is the best rechargeable cooler ice material by volume? Thanks to hydrogen bonds, water has heat of fusion at 0 °C of approximately 334 joules (79.7 calories) per gram or cm^3. Water also has a higher specific heat capacity than any other material...
Cheapest web hosting option? I used to use e-rice.net for $5 a year but they are no longer around.
I don't need anything fancy, just a website for a small business and maybe a shopping cart to buy event tickets.
I can program in almost any language. Strong Unix background but will use the...
I want full control & owndershop of my domain name. Will use my own servers. What are the best registration choices?
Thanks!
Thinking about
1) www.hover.com
2) www.Namecheap.com
I don't. It'll be a $100 pick-a-apart. I figured I'd check the tranny fluid black = pass and red = worth taking a risk. Rear end collision is most likely a good indicator.
I can take it out but I might pay someone to put it it ($350). So it's a $450 gamble. Local junkyard pulls all...
I have a 2000 Honda Accord V6. If I was going to pull a tranny out of a junkyard car, how would I tell what's compatible?
From what I can tell, I need a B7XA which can be found on 1998 to 2002 models. Not sure how to tell the difference in person though.
closest I've found so far:

Trying to make the woman happy...
I need a small computer case like this:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
HP lists the dimensions as:
13.3 x 14.9 x 3.9 in
The woman loves the small 4" in height (as long as she can put a monitor on top). Otherwise we will turn it into a slim...
Want to custom build a small computer using AMD Bobcat, Bulldozer or Intel-Nvidia Ion. It would be nice if the case had a flash slot so I can transfer camera pictures onto it. I don't need a DVD/blue ray as we rarely use optical discs on the computer. I can use USB for that. The girlfriend...
Something happened to my Toshiba A45-S150 laptop that has rendered it unusable. All buttons seem to be in the ALT mode. If I hit "B" then the "Bookmarks" menu opens up in firefox. If I hit F then the "File" menu opens. Because of the "ALT" effect, I'm unable to type anything into the google...
HTPC locks up/uses tons of ram during certain movies (e.g. X-Files 2008)

Looks like this item has been deactivated. :-( I'm sure I can find something similar though.
Does anyone have any supporting evidence that a quad core CPU w/ $100 card is much better for Flight Simulator X than a dual core with a $200 graphics card?
Big boost? Do you have any articles that I can read? Benchmarks?
I'm basically budgeted ~$350 for the CPU and video card. Do you have a recommended setup?
Recommend a CPU for a flight simulator fiend. Mostly MS flight simulator.
Right now I was thinking of the:

I need to upgrade my mobo, CPU & video card. Is there a listing of macintosh OSX compatible parts out there? Or at least a way to see what kind of parts any of their desktop computers use? I wouldn't mind having a dual boot leopard/Windows XP setup.
Thanks for the advice!
These pages seem to suggest that PC-2100 DDR S.O. DIMM works with my laptop:
http://www.edgetechcorp.com/me.../upgrade.asp?cid=29429

will pc3300 work? in all honesty I'm not sure what is best for my computer. Strange that the...
Here is a graphic so there is no misunderstanding. The black and gold device is the RF choke. The green box is the invisible fence. The red line is the broken fence wire
http://img247.imageshack.us/my...=invisiblefencecf2.jpg
We have a break in the invisible dog fence that I'm trying to fix. I found this on the intranetz:
http://blog.paulasgriffith.com/2007/03/
I bought an RF choke #273-102 which is 100 microhenries +-10%, 2amps max, rated at 1kHz. I unplugged the boundary/fence wires from the transmitter...
I have a buddy that's looking into getting a laptop for work. He's hoping for a 17" screen that can do 1920x1200. He will not be playing any games an simply wants as much screen space as possible on the laptop. He's also hoping to get the built in mobile web access. Other than that he...
Intel vs. AMD which one wins when it comes to heat? A friend wants a cool (and quiet) computer that has a decent amount of power.
Is there a side by side chart comparison of desktop and mobile CPUs?
A buddy of mine has a relatively new motherboard with an AGP port. He needs to get a 30" monitor. Are there any AGP cards that can support this?
If not then what is the quietest card that can support a 30" monitor? I assume it's going to be some ATI 1600 variant.
The only games he plays...
