I'd actually like to know the same thing. My HTPC is too small for a PCI card and I'd like to upgrade the sound. I remember going from a Yamaha whateverthehell card to the Soundstorm sound back in the day and the upgrade was completely noticable. Now I'm back to crappy onboard sound with my...
~350 but the light on the gauge is on. I guess I'll have to get some petrol on the way to work. That means get up early:( but that also means Krispy Kremes:)
My boss was arguing about odds with his buddies over a late night card soiree last weekend. The question was whether it is more ?difficult? (worse odds) to get three of a kind in a hand of only three cards or if it is more ?difficult? to get four of a kind in a hand of five cards. These guys...
That seems about right. Chug a quart when I wake, two 64oz mugs while at work (biggest I could find), and whatever goes down from then to sleepytime. I'm no stranger to the pisser.
Both of my CVs were going out on my first car. Well, one went to hell fast so I replaced it but the other clunked around a bit when I accellerated while turning. I never did replace that part and drove it for over 40K miles.
That said, I was retarded and lucky - driving on a bad joint is...
It was alright. I've had a few over the last few days. Yes, it's much like a Mexican Pizza wrapped in a tortilla, however this makes it most handy to eat while driving. It's clearly a one-handed food. I found the taste to be rather boring. My suggestion to the gods of the Bell:
Replace the...
Both. Maybe even durring. Perhaps you should clean them on the way there, or at work before hand, or when picking up the dry cleaning, or when at the market looking for a fine pork roast, or when irrigating your lawn, or when writing a thank-you note to granny or....
Eye contact is good (of course) but something that is overlooked is dividing eye contact among your interviewers. Make sure you address them equally if interviewed by a panel - this is expecially true if they're women. Don't let any of them feel like they are less important than the others...
You're consciously trying to subconsciously make yourself late? My berries ache just thinking about that.
<---Almost never late. Punctuality is a game. I leave early, take my time, drive slowly, and laugh at all the douches behind me honking because they are late.
My SO, on...
Some say indecisive, others - non-commital, and others still: apathetic. Survey says?:
NEUTRAL
I'm a Libra too - is this coincidence? Don't really care.
True - mold can create very nasty toxins and in a room for a baby, this should be taken seriously. If you don't want to jump right into a professional search, you can do a few things:
Steam clean the carpet. This will kill most things in the carpet.
Repaint the room with a sealing primer...
What's the average life expectancy of an optical drive, particularly a burner?
I have a BenQ 800A DVD writer that is acting squirrely lately. It'll work fine for a few weeks and then become inaccessible. I can't open the tray by any means other than with a paperclip. If I take the drive...
True, lye is the active ingredient in most drain cleaners but powdered lye only works if the product comes in direct contact with the clog. If the drain is plugged at or passed the p-trap, the powder does no good.

(note: Conversations with God is not a heavy-hitting religious book - though it might be considered a little tree-hugging)
Hmm - I'm not sure. The plumber would have billed the apartment owners and I suppose it would have been up the owners to collect from the tenant. Knowing the owners are off-site slackers, they probably would have absorbed the cost without hassle to the tenants.
It'd have been interesting to...
Yep, that's a good place to start. If a lye-based cleaner doesn't do the job, you can find acid-based cleanout solutions as well. These can be find in any decent hardware store. The Draino-type cleaners work on protein clogs, but sometimes there is other stuff in there.
I was appartment...
While you have a good set of points, I disagree with your tally of bible-thumping conservatives. Whereas it may be true that there are, on average, two conservatives in any given thread, my research has found that only one of them will be, in fact, bible-thumping. The other is simply...
I've never done this personally, but a good friend of mine did this with automotive spraypaint and the results were fabulous. He painted a PC that 1950's puke pastel green you see on classic cars of that era. It turned out really nice, but I know he put a lot of work into it. A few coats of...
