C-Media and GeForce4 problems

Hi I am using a Asus A7V266-E (kt266a & C-media sound), and a gforce 3 (latest driver) for win98se & 4:1=4.45. No problem here:) Look at the bios (sound)???

Best freeware zip program?

Total commander (windows commander) It have internal zip,arj etc. Could not stand Windows (file manager) Of curse it´s not free, but you can look at it this way, you ger the zip for free when you get a new filemanager. Once you try it, you can´t live whith out it. Download it for try, here

Help me! A few days ago I saw some were "how to fix your old socket370 mb to run Tualatin core"on it. I must have forgotten to save that link...:o It wasn´t some spacer, but some soldering and cutting pins.

Of curse, if the addressing problem limit you to 8 gig you can run it like a 8gig drive. But what fdisk do you use? My old win98 fdisk also have a "big drive" limit (I don´t rem the number), I did not get it right until I use´t Partion Magic. Also, look at your bios config.........

Hi A frend of mine are trying to use 2 networkcard´s to "bridge" together different part of a lan network together (one rj45 100mb & one quax 10mb), he´s running win98 se. Is this possible with win98? and how do he config it. Now he has to disable one card to use the other one.......:(

Modem-Network problem

Only firewall is the router, no software. If i ping (from outside modem conection) and ping for other clients (on lan), I will get no answer.

I got a Asus a7v266-e with a Promise ide-raid controler, and Asus have drivers for Linux. I have never tryed it with Linux only with win98se....

What's the oldest system or component you have?

Is this a ATX motherboard? can this case take a ATX motherboard?

Hi! It looks like a atx-board to me, but the pic of the top of the mb was not that sharp so i am not shore about the main power supply plug. Mabe you have to get another power supply......... This board looks like the one in my Ibm 300 mhz, and that rig has an AT power supply. Good luck

WTF is wrong with my computer?
