XP SPak 1 crash's computer

You're not alone...I've got something weird with this ATI Radeon 7500 card trying to work with SP1. So, I don't have SP1 installed. I do have all the hotfixes and critical updates installed. ;)

Nobody mentioned this, so maybe you can give it a shot. Have you tried using the advanced boot options? Press F8 before the Windows XP start-up screen displays, and choose "Last Known Good Configuration". If that doesn't work, perhaps you can find the culprit in Safe Mode. Do you know what...

I don't knowwhy it worked for a day or two, because the actual MS system requirements state a minimum of 128MB. Link Edit: Not...that was Win2K Server. Pro required 64MB. Sorry... :o

Volume icon keeps disappearing upon reboot in Win XP?

If I get this, I'd be so stoked... Right-click the System Tray, then click Properties. In the Taskbar tab, uncheck "Hide inactive icons", then Apply. Does that do the trick?

How can I hear Phone Line Sound on Speakers?

If you're talking about hearing it dial-up to the internet, those settings can be found on your modem, and not your speakers. If you're talking about talking on the phone to someone else thru your computer, that's a different story.
