TV Tuner CPU usage

You need to use the Hauppauge software to get the hardware encoding. DScaler doesn't support it and is defaulting to software mode, which will jack up your CPU usage considerably.

Antec True380 Problems?

Well yeah, but all of them say "Install Service Pack 1!" which I've already done. Plus, the startup problem makes me think it's a hardware thing.

I just bought an Antec Sonata case the other day with a nice TruePower 380 watt power supply. I switched everything over to the new case and plugged everything in and flipped the switch on the power supply and the machine immediately started up, without hitting the power button. I have to reset...

Anyone with Cendyne RMA experiences?

I got the RMAed drive today, and its a BenQ 4816P, which after some research seems to be the same as saber800's Verbatim drive. I guess anything is better then that Optorite piece of crap I had. Off to FS/FT for this...

Well yeah, I'm not really worried about it either. The broken one I have isn't a Lite-On, but I may as well ask and try to get one. I'm just going to turn around and sell it over in FS/FT since I bought a 48x TDK in the meantime. :)

Anyone with Cendyne RMA experiences?

Has anyone ever RMA'ed a drive to Cendyne? I had a Lightning IV (the Optowrite one) die in January, so I contacted Cendyne through their tech support form. A few days later, they responded asking for my name, address, phone number, etc (things that are oddly on the original tech support form)...

I'm in the process of getting a new CD-RW drive from Cendyne. I just filled out the Tech Support form here (on 01/14/03) and they got back to me in a few days (01/19/03) asking for my name, shipping address, and other information. They mentioned nothing about sending back the defective drive, so...

Okay, over the past few weeks my somewhat recently bought second hard drive (D:)has been flaking out. I'll be doing whatever and listening to MP3s (being played off the D: drive) and it'll start skipping and eventually freeze up Winamp and finally stop once I kill the not responding program...

There really aren't any new "official" Voodoo drivers, but check out x3dfx.com. I'm pretty sure they're all ex-3dfx employees, so you should be in good hands. :)
