<< I recommend you all do what I did...become a programmer and sit on your ass all day eating cheezy poofs and drinking Mountain Dew. My feet are fine. Of course there is that long walk to the car twice a day. And then that painful pushing of the gas pedal on my car. But I guess we all have...
My old genica did work with some vbr discs and it would play 96 to about 156kbps but I'm so glad I got my RioVolt. I encoded everything at 128kbps just so it'd work on my genica. It was annoying. Now if I get something encoded other than 128, it'll play fine on the Riovolt.
My old genica also...
Hmm, a bad unit maybe?
I love my RioVolt. I bought it last summer and have used it about 20hrs/wk with the remote at work, walking around with it in a belt carryer. No problems except the remote cord wore and the wires inside broke. Had to order another remote ($30!!!) and it had a thicker cord...
<< These sound like a good idea... I'm wondering if I'll need to get bigger shoes though :(. >>
yeah, I did forget about that but I'm used to it now. The supports do make the middle of your foot higher in the shoe. The Merrells I have I have to tie them a bit looser than before. With the...
I have an Alpha Pal-Fc on my C900 and I get better temps sucking air away from the sink. Now, this setup has a little shroud that does affect this. I took the shroud off and tested it both ways and the best way was with the shroud on, sucking air away. PLUS, the fans blows directly on my RAM :)...
<< hm..all these posts by junior members for this device. try footsmart.com if you need footcare. >>
...and as we all know, being a junior member of Anandtech Forums means you don't know much; therefore no one should listen to what you have to say...
What does being a "Junior Member" have to...
At work I went from being on my feet about half the day and moving around, to all day with half of it standing in one place. I tried arch supports, I even bought a pair of Merrell trail running/hiking shoes because they had decent support and great soles that were softer than most. They helped...
<< ad states Recommended by AMD anyone see where on the AMD site ? Linky >>
AMD recommends a power supply of a certain wattage, as well as specific power supplies. I've seen lots of PS ads state "Recommended by AMD" meaning the wattage is sufficient, but the PS itself is NOT AMD RECOMMENDED...
Just thought I'd update on this. I pre-bought the visiontek xstasy G3Ti200 for $200 a few days before thanksgiving planning to go back the day after and get the price match. I did so. I did NOT do a "rebuy" (and realized my possible mistake after the sale was over!) but did a pricematch. The...
Just found the same fan a Coolerguys.com for $16
Even if these fans are used (which I'll bet they aren't - they're probably surplus bought from a bankrupt company), it's hard to beat $3.

Don't know if they're brand new or not. The copy says "brand new 7 blade type" which could mean one of two things. If you're gonna buy one, email them and ask first. This is a great company for deals and I've ordered from them before with no...
