what should be the Memory settings on ECS K7S5A for Crucial 256MB DDR ??

<< Turbo and everything at lowest. You shouldn't have any problems, im running max memory setting right now on a k7s5a with 2 sticks of 256mb each crucial pc2100. >> turbo isn't a option. you can choose safe/normal/fast/ultra.

what do you guys have to say about the ECS K7S5A

I love my k7s5a! I'm using it whit an athlon xp 1500+ w/o any problems. but here in sweden everything is much more expensive :/ I payed approximately 90 dollars (945 sek) for mine, but a via 266a board costs more than 250 dollars (2600sek) so it wasn't so expensive.

does the K7S5A board require Via 4in1s?

go to http://forum.ocworkbench.com/ocwbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=4 and read their faq (a.k.a "k7s5a bible"). the only reason to dowload any drivers to you're k7s5a if you're using windows xp is because you wan't to use the soundcard or the lan on you're k7s5a.

how many fan headers on the K7S5A?

<< fan headers on the motherboard are better as usually they use less power and may be monitored. >> didn't think about that. but i still think it's better to connect the fans directly to the psu.

how many fan headers on the K7S5A?

why don't use fans that you connect directly to the psu? I don't use anyone of the fan headers on my k7s5a.
