I told my Mom about this promo 2 days after she bought her tickets.
She simply called the 800 number and told them she just got an email promo code
and would like to apply it to her tickets she already bought.
She had to cancel the first tickets online, buy the new tickets with the promo code...
I have no idea what Playboy TV is like now, but years ago I had it
when I had my black box and I used to watch it.
Not for the regular crappy soft porn, but for the original shows they did.
Yes very much like I like to read the articles, but actually these shows were good.
Of course sex based...
Prices have gone way up in the last few months.
You used to be able to get these for .80 a disc shipped,
but Riteks have gained a rep and the others have a bad rep for low priced discs.
Rima.com are very reputable. Some of the others out there sometimes give you lower quality
discs instead of...
I swear I saw this at Walmart the other day for $5.88.
They also had 14 Episodes of Dragnet, some 3 Stoogers Eps and
some Lassie eps also for $5.88 each.
Mark
Are you sure it's not 2 for $20 or 3 for $30?
Best Buy has been doing these deals on certain of their $15 DVD's
for a few weeks now, but I haven't seen them drop their $15 DVD's this much.
Mark
I owned this monitor, but it had really bad corners and it wouldn't converge properly.
I got it for less then $250 on a PM with Staples, but returned it. I ended up getting the
Dell P992 instead and I am glad I did.
My problems may have only been a one off thing though.
Mark
I owned one of these phones for 24 hours.
It would have been less, but I needed to charge the
battery.
The phone is just a little better then two cans and a string.

The newer 8RDA+ boards are starting to show up with this same northbridge.
It is stepping A1. The older chips are actually A2 and A3.
These new chips have no round copper heat spreader on the top.
There is a thread on it over in the Epox forum of www.amdmb.com
Mark
Reading this thread I thought I would point out some things that might be confusing for some.
The AU11 is the Epox 8RDA+. All the 8RDA boards are made by FIC.
Early Epox 8RDA+ boards actually say AU11 under the sticker on the bios.
This was one of the changes in version 1.1. It no longer...
About 5 or 6 years ago the Wiz started opening stores in Massachusetts.
They had a lease at my local, at the time, mall and held up the space for months while
they did nothing. I am sure that cost them a great deal of money.
They had already opened another huge store in another town.
I went in...
Sorry haven't been around lately.
I thought that the Video cards forum and inside that the ATI forum would be obvious.
Search "9500 Mod". There is one thread with almost 250 responses. That is a good one to read.
Mark
No, not in the mod, but in the overclocking ability.
It seems the worst memory for overlcoking is the Inferion 3.3.
I actually have that memory.
There are three types of memory known for the red board.
Over at the amdmb.com forum there seems to be a strange pattern emerging.
More people with...
I got mine from allstarshop.com and it is the hackable red board.
They have a specific page for this particular version. You have to
specify the Sapphire red board. It has the right picture and a big disclaimer
that they don't recomend you hack it.
I have successfully hacked my card and so...
I really want one of these.
I completely agree with all the females in my life that I am a lazy slob
when it comes to cleaning. If I vaccum 6 times a year it's too many times and
I have wall to wall.
I never get those coupons though.
Mark
Since my last reply I have not been idle.
I have checked it out and I do have the A3 stepping.
I now fully believe it is the motherboard and not the memory that is holding me back.
I am currently working on getting the Iceberg cooler for the northbridge and after that is installed
I will do...
Is there anyway of telling without removing the heatsink.
I don't want to chance not being able to return it if I decide to.
Would Sandra or MBM5 tell me what version?
Thanks,
Mark
Update. I lowered my PSU voltage to a steady 5.05V. It was running about 5.23V which was needed
for my old board.
I installed only 1 stick and pumped it until Prime95 failed using 2.77V and 100%.
I placed the stick in slot 2.
Stick #1 did 190Mhz and stick 2 did 189Mhz MAX. 1Mhz at this...
Bartman39 are you running sync or async?
If I put the system to 170 FSB / 205 Memory it seems to work, but my Sandra scores drop like a stone.
I wonder if it really is running at 205. If it is it seems stable. I haven't run Prime95 for more then a minute, but
it doesn't crash right away like...
I bought 2 256MB PC3200 Twinmos modules to put in my Epox 8RDA+
and I am rather dissapointed with the results. I have requested an exchange
already.
With my 2200+ CPU set at 9X I cannot even POST at 200Mhz.
At 175Mhz I have to use rather relaxed timings and at
180Mhz I have to use the slowest...
If you want the + and want to save some money get the FIC-AU11.
It's the exact same board without the LED readout.
According to FIC they make the 8RDA+ for EPOX.
I just got mine today and it's identical to my 8RDA+ I have in another computer,
except for that readout of course, but it does have...
The 20"s is a bit deep. My tower case is only 17"s so I don't know why they need
that much depth.
I might still get it, but it's almost 5"s too deep for my setup.
I have found a few ATX full cases that are under 17"s deep, but they are so expensive.
They are all $200 without PSU.
I don't want...
Thanks very much. I think that the Antec might be what I get when Newegg get's
it back in stock. For $120 and the fact it includes a good PSU that is not bad.
I just wish it was all black and didn't have that silver, but it is the best I have found so far.
Now I just have to see if I can fit...
Don't have a choice if I buy this case since the PSU cannot be swapped out.
It's a HTPC case that has a specially placed PSU that is supposed to be 300W.
I have no idea who makes the case, but the seller is very reputable.
Mark
As much as I like the anandtech forums, for water cooling you are better off over at the
Overclockers Forum they have a water cooling forum inside the general
cooling forum. You will have plenty of reading to do there and all the opinions needed.
For a basic water cooling setup you will need...
They have both listed with seperate selects.
So you can choose a B as it says so right in the description.
They have 3 2100's listed. One that says right on it T'Bred B
one that says nothing and the retail.
If I choose the B and get an A they are getting a butt whoopin.
OPPS sorry thought...
Forget www.pcsupplysource.com
I just got a T'bred A from them.
Needless to say RMA and a restocking fee.
At least shipping to me was free.
Where can I get a garanteed T'Bred B and a decent stepping?
Is it Newegg?
Mark
Thanks for the heads up on Staples.
I went in and there it was on the shelf for $89.80.
Not as cheap as some have seen it, but still $30 less then CC. I kindly asked the sales rep
if they had this in a flyer or anything and he asked why so I just told him that I wanted
to take this to CC to...
I am building a HTPC that will most likely never go beyond the following max config.
Will a 300W PSU power this OK?
1. Epox 8K3A+ Motherboard
2. AMD XP2200+ most likely underclocked to reduce heat
3. Alpha PAL 8045 Heatsink with low speed fan
4. DVD-ROM
5. 2 Hard Drives MAX
6. ATI Radeon 8500LE...
I bought my T'bred XP 2100 from www.pcsupplysource.com
It clearly states T'bred on the website and in the reciept.
It was $84 shipped from the East Coast.
They have a decent, but not NewEgg riduculous, reseller rating.
I have no idea what stepping it is, only that it is a T'bred for sure.
Mark
I am heavily debating on trying this. I really need a new video card soon and I wanted to
spend a bit less, but if I can spend a bit more and possibly get allot more power then it would
be worth it for me.
If this card fails in the modding is it still a good card for the price at stock...
Real close, but the PSU it too small. I will be putting a farily hefty system in there and
want at least a 400W PSU.
It is sweet looking though. Too bad the PSU spot is too small to put in a regular PSU.
Thanks,
Mark
I have a home made water cooling setup with the Spir@l water block.
I use a Home Depot plastic underground junction box with a Maxi-jet 1200 water
pump in it feeding an 87 Chevy Camaro heater core that has a 190mm fan on it that
pumps into my water block.
My Diode temp (Epox 8K3A+) has dropped...
I am building a HTPC and I would like a case that will fit with my A/V equipment.
Black is prefered, but silver would be OK too.
I don't need aluminum since I hop to never have to move this once it's setup.
Any thoughts about what case and where to get it?
Thanks,
Mark
I haven't played a game in a month, but when I do I go on mini binges.
I will get hooked on a game like Battlefield 1942 and play it all the time for
a week and then maybe never play it again.
I would want to stick with at least as good as I have now, which is the ATI Radeon 8500LE.
I was...
Don't it figure. I just got the rebagged modules today and they dropped in price again.
The rebagged down to $58.
The Original down to $71 at memoryx.
Mark
I currently have an ATI 8500LE 64MB and it does the job ok, but I need to make a HTPC
and this 8500 will work nicely there. So I need a new video card for my primary system.
I rarely play games, but I still would like a decent video card.
There is no way I can afford any of the top of the line...
