for me it was a matter of not trusting NVidia anymore. I had a Dell D630 with a bad NV chip in it. Last week my 8800GT also succumbed to NV's defective manufacturing process leaving me feeling thrown under a bus. When the 8800 went I looked on Newegg and saw the 4890 was out... I bought one...
not only is a wired mouse not much of an inconvenience, they are much harder to lose. Besides wireless mice have lag. All of them do, it's just the nature of the beast. Hopefully logitech will see the light and release a wired version.
i did not arrive at my local MC until 6:45 and still managed to get the 42" I felt bad because they guy in the checkout line with me had gotten there at 4am to get the same tv i got lol.
Well I called Asus and they said don't do it. Their boards with heatpipes need to be mounted right side up. I bought a V series case when they first came out and had the A8NPremium board with it. It ran hot as hell so I replaced the case and had much bettrer temps. If the mobo manufacturer says...
I have an SI-128 on an AM2 board right now and an SI-120 on my conrow build with the Asus P5WDH, works great but you might have to buy an adapter if you originally bought the S939 kit from Thermalright. coolerguys.com has them for like 5 bucks.
it aint user error. the P180 is one of the biggest pieces of crap ever built and for some reason AT bandwagons the hell out of it. I owned one for a few weeks then got rid of it. It was a plastic junk not built with serious computer users in mind.
check this one out OP-...
My Opteron 148 has never been under 2.8 ince the day I bought it over 8 months ago. I'm nearing upgrade time and I'll do the same to the next chip I get. Not overclocking a chip like the 148 is a crime imo.
ack... it was Stand By Me. That was the other Bachman book... it was called The Body originally but stand by me was a great movie. True his TV adaptations suck tho.
Technically Desperation and the Regulators (also rage, the long walk, the running man, and one other i can't remember) were written by SK's pseudonym Richard Bachman.
My 148 @ 2.95 would disagree with you akahai. Many hardcore gamers still choose single core chips, especially if you can get one cheap. I had my 148 over 3ghz for most of the winter but scaled it back a little now that spring has sprung and warm weather is here. Very few games can take advantage...
i've had one for a long time, heat pipes work great. i rarely see nb temps over 30c. I have a good case with excellent airflow and i'm sure that helps a lot.
