So vital, where's picture #6?
I stopped by about 6:30 and it is a great looking store. I just hope they can keep it together when the hordes hit.
First time ever I went to check out of Fry's and there was NO LINE! Cashier was a bit slow but was friendly and helpful (no, not the one in picture...
I tried a very similar deal at J&R a couple weeks back - with very short rebate response period, too - for a Jungsoft 64 MB USB flashdrive and it went to backorder status the next day. I called and CS knew right away what was up - said they would be filling all orders received by a specified...
Well, Eddie , the rebate must be postmarked by 3/3/03, so no 3 months there. And that sounds like the "close of the rebate period" to me. That's why I send that rebate in already to try to beat their "fully redeemed" limits - didn't even wait until this weekend to catch up on my correspondence...
That Maddog DVD rebate is truly suck in the fine print! It requires online registration along with the rest of the mailin stuff (extra work). And then at the very end of the rebate printout from the register (so you can't read it ahead of time and readily opt out?) it says "This offer is no...
oops, forgot to put in the message!
We have a lowrise desktop GXa at work and haven't been able to use "reguler" DIMMs in it. Must be a Dell special ram or something? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Well, I ordered for local pickup last night, but it's still pending online. Called my local OD and they have the HD in stock, but oddly enough my "paperwork" hasn't gotten to them yet. They're holding one for me to pickup and will cancel the online order for me - but then no coupon, right?
Any...
OK, I searched and didn't find, so?
OD has a 19" Philips flat screen monitor (#789051) for $259.99 with two rebates totaling $80. One is $50, good 9/29 thru 10/26; the $30 one is good 10/20 thru 10/26 and takes a copy of the UPC.
Search out a 16% off online coupon, the price drops another...
Take heart all - I got an email today from The Express Group saying my $30 rebate for the chair had been approved. Now I just need to wait "10 to 12 weeks" for payment! That's really too long, but better than Rejected. Hope the rest of you get the same results soon.
Oh yeah, I sent one of the...
Sigh . . . the thread crappers are out in force tonight!
Thanks for the post, Farbio. I picked one up on Sunday (last one at the closest CUSA) - the "black" one only is on sale - then got busy at Office Depot chair shopping and didn't get around to posting this very fine deal - even with CUSA's...
Add hint to Tom's above: when you get the power supply out toss it and install a real one. I got this deal and do not believe all the "price point" choices made for this case & ps combo! Light duty "flexie" metal top and sides, lightweight ps (an older Deer 250W I have weighs more), and that...
thanks for the recommendation. gave it a try but house call hung at its start screen on my problem machine. tried it on my older box and it ran fine . . . so, need to find another tactic. haven't picked up virus scan 6.0 yet - maybe that will find the problem when installing. any other suggestions?
hello, recently my trend micro pc-cillin virus scan alerted me that i have an infected file, under some local settings folder i believe (in XP) and the name of the virus is js_noclose. well, it claimed that it was clean then, but later it alerts me that a new file is infected by this same...
Thanks for the info, Barabas, since Dell CS is really BS!
My 955DF arrived yesterday and I'm looking at it now - better than my CUSA Envision after Christmas special for the same price with tax and AR. I think my light use 17" Princeton oldie at work finally will get updated by the Envision...
So we're OT, but did anyone else notice there were still 2 seconds left on the clock when the ball cleared the uprights? It showed right on the TV screen, even on the replay. Could Faulk have made the return for a TD while time actually ran out? We'll never know, will we?
Well, this board sounds like the one a bunch of Anandealers got to use with a slocket to o'clock their Celerons (like 566 and 633 range) by taking the FSB from 66 to 100. I should research before responding, but we're dealing with recall only at this point - hope it helps some.
You got it right, kof, the in store $40 deal on the 500 VA UPS is the hot deal here, so long as both rebates are honored. And they will be honored, right gang?
Fornax - take the coupon in with your receipt and they should just "return" the chair and sell it to you again, but this time with the rebate.
It worked for me, but was for the $99 black leather "executive" chair that AndrewR mentioned earlier in this post. BTW the chair I...
This post looks like the place to list OD clearance deals found, so -
The Energizer DoubleBarrel flashlights are marked down, with the big one at $7.88 including 6 AA alkaline batteries, and the small one at $4.88 including 4 AAA batteries. You almost have to see them to appreciate their...
Hmm...Since when is $49.99 less than $39.99? And there were lots of the 500 VA's at my CC today, so there's no shortage yet, it appears. And if there's shipping charges, this guy's kinda heavy!
Well, at MY CC two $30 rebates printed out at purchase, for a net before tax cost of $39.99. Only thing is both rebates require the original UPC to accompany the rebate submittal.
The SC (sales clerk - we need more acronyms!) read through the rebates with me and said to just send a copy of the...
Well, I saw one (in the glass case) in the Encinitas, CA store and read the same expiration date on the box . . . so it's still there, unless you got it M. There may be others out there, and would still be worth it for $30 for some folks.
The "Wooden Velociraptor 3D Puzzle (Medium)" is my favorite amazingly overpriced freebie after rebate ("100% FREE" tab on top of their home page). But yours is a close second!
dude8 - the multi-markdown red price tags all have 080 01 0034 across the top, and the UPC on the package is 33317 19822. Hope this helps you find them.
Well, I snagged 3 graphlinks for a grand total of $6.27 including CA tax from the Vista Target, so I guess the markdown fairy was working overtime in that store. Thanks for the heads up, Rod, and sorry others, they're all spoken for.
OK, so my mobo "automatically detects CPU voltage" - does that mean the slocket set voltage, or does it read it directly from the CPU? It's an Atrend ATC 6240 BX board, if that matters.
Thanks for the_tip, the_man!! When I went to my local CC the shelf price for the 14 hour TiVo was minus a penny!! They're not advertising it, but they're not hiding it either. Encinitas, CA was the place I shopped. Thanks again!
I got mine, also. So what's v2.3 do that's new and special? Any info?
BTW the pin positions on the right side of the card don't all match the illustration on the box, but they all seem to be there.
