I'm local to Surplus Computers, and all the people there are really cool. The owner always comes out to talk to me, even got me into Mustangs. As for ordering and customer service, I have not had any issues whatsoever.
The newest firmware for the DDW-081 makes the drive dual format 8x +/-. This is a great drive. I've been using + media with the BitSetting to - so that it can play in most home DVD players.
I'm running my XP-M 2500+ @ 2700MHz 13.5 x 200 1.9v air cooled with a Volcano 12. It'll run @ 2400MHz 12x200 at stock voltage. Gotta love the 2500's :)
Yea, very stable. Just ran Prime95 for a day after running 3DMark for a day. I'm using onboard sound also. My system seems to run fine at 2.7GHz @ 1.9v, but 1.9 is a little high for my liking. I prefer to keep my CPU temps in the high 30s to the low-mid 40s. My system temps are at 26-28ºC...
I scored a $99.00 25" Sharp TV :) My girlfriend bought one too! One of the employees at the Fremont store told me they sold 1500 units today. EVERYONE had one in their carts!
The Nets are just a weaker version of the Kings. The Lakers will now have to handle Kenyon Martin instead of Webber, Van Horn instead of Turkoglu/Stojakovic, MacCulloch instead of Divac, Kittles instead of Christie and Kidd instead of Bibby. The only player on the Nets that's better than his...
I have this set....got it from Costco for $79.99. Great buy, but don't even think about playing any games with the optical mouse. Good thing I'm not much of a gamer :)
The 900NF is a great monitor. As for the 955DF, I'd rather get something else that can support 1280x1024 at a higher refresh rate than 75Hz, preferably. I don't know about you guys, but I can definitely tell the difference between 75Hz and 85Hz flicker-wise. 75Hz is not sufficient.
Question...
These are available at http://www.2BuyStore.com for $138.84 shipped. I received my set from them last week. I'm in California and it only took 2 days.

Got in on this deal. One major problem. It doesn't even work in my area, at least in my house. I couldn't even configure the coordinates when I first plugged in the GPS unit. Oh well, back to Staples!
<< Do we know for sure if Staples is a "participating retailer"? Would hate to lose out on the rebate... >>
If you search for store locations at http://www.magellangps.com, your list of results will include Staples. This would lead me to believe that Staples is a participating retailer.
I saw that the Visioneer 8100 wasn't on the website anymore, so I went to my B&M and had them pricematch Shentech.com, who is selling it for $55. However, shipping to my area costs $11.97 from Shentech, so my B&M pricematched $66.97. The manager had one of the CSRs go to the website to check...
It's still available. You can call them and order it. The rep I spoke to said that he had no idea why it's no longer on the website, but they do have them.
