voltage on the XP

I most certainly do.....If you put the latest bios on there (1005, or 1006) it will show up with the correct voltage, however this may be cosmetic, as the bios will tell you the core voltage (according to hardware monitoring) is ~1.74, the asusprobe utility in windows reports it as ~1.82......so...

Asus A7V266-E losing bios settings

A7V266E owners... noticed higher temps?

i have also noticed higher temps....i had an msi k7t266 pro2-ru before this and my temps (w/ stock hsf) and my temps were 29-30 celcius and on the asus board (a7v266-e) it is 45-49 celcius. i have noticed that regardless of what i have the vcore jumpers on (cpu default or any of the other...

HELP! MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU & XP 1600 won't boot

just because the power supply is amd approved, doesnt mean that one or more of the power leads in the adx connector hasnt gone bad.....do yourself a favor and try a new power supply before you go and take the board and processor back.....a little trouble shooting may just solve your problem, and...

Soyo Dragon+ Kt266A?

I currently have the MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU (click on v3 below) and it has been incredibly stable (a BIOS update of course) and incredibly fast (the usb 2.0 is nice, along with the onboard RAID), but the SOYO has onboard 5.1 sound and onboard LAN (very nice to have i would suspect)....im building...

best nvidia drivers for xp?

did you do a fresh install of XP or did you upgrade from 98/2K?.....i have a fresh install of xp and also have the 2280 drivers (detonator referance drivers) and have had no problems.....continous uptime?.....is your card heating up perhaps.....what happens when you put it thgough its paces in...

I have an Athlon XP 1800+ on an MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU, also with 512MB Crucial.....you can see the specs by clicking on v3 below....anyway, i have the PNY GeForce3 ti200 and i can overclock the sh!t out of it. i leav it at 200/460 just because none of the games i play require any more than that...

Visiontek gf3 ti200 overclocks

I have the pny gf3ti200 and i have run very stable at 200/460....i tried 220/500 and got visual artifacts during 3dmark2001.....i havent had time to figure out which is creating the artifacts, mem or core.....more later perhaps....

most of the parts in my rig came from newegg.com.....i didnt have any problems with them at all, however, i had to buy the motherboard and vid card from another vendor, as newegg was sold out (gives you an idea of the volume they deal with). everything came packaged nicely, lots of padding...
