I've had mine for about 6 weeks and love it. The battery isn't user replaceable but Creative has said they will provide a replacement service if needed. It's rumored to cost $99 but not confirmed. Ipods require a similar service from Apple. Still even if the battery dies in 2-3 years it's...
Zen adds support for USB 2.0 (but not firewire) and also uses standard 2.5" notebook drives so a lot of people have already upgraded to a 40Gb or 60Gb drive. Ipods are nice but hard to pass up a Zen at $212.

I bought a 50 pack today in the Carlsbad, CA store for $40. You can't read the disc labels without opening the packaging but mine are AV1K by Sony and burn fine at 2x in my Cendyne with 1.21 firmware
KBToys.com has the Intec LCD screens fot $99. That's the best price I've seen and these are much better monitors than the Interact versions.

Vaja is offering 15% of all of their cases this weekend. They're still not cheap but the quality of their pda cases is pretty tough to beat. I have a Clie NR-70V case and love it.

The serial number on the box for my 7200rpm (in a 5400rpm box) model shows as a 5400rpm when I look it up.

Myself and two friends ended up buying 3 of these today. All were labeled 5400rpm on the box but two actually contained 7200rpm drives. The third is a 5400rpm drive. All 3 were purchased at the same time at the same store. I'd say it's the luck of the draw. Fortunately the third guy wanted...
My last auction on ebay for some cellular stuff received about 20 e-mails from different user IDs with almost identical text. They were all a guy from Indonesia that wanted to buy immediately and would cover all shipping costs but needed me to find a way to charge his credit card. It's a very...
I'm using the Winter 2002 drivers on my ipaq with the Truemobile card. I upgraded to Dell 8.10 firmware before I tried it in the ipaq so I don't know if that was required or not. The Orinoco drivers did not recognize the card until I manually specified the driver. When you insert the card you...
$138 shipped is a good deal for a new card but you may also want to consider a refurbed 8500DV AIW from newegg for $165 shipped. Mine came complete with all cables, remote and even the dvi-vga adapter. The 7500 is a great card if you don't game much but is starting to seem pretty old for...
It's currently out of stock but you may wish to check with
Computer Geeks. They were selling a refurbed version of the G90MB for $147+shipping. There is also a 10% coupon out there for them.

It is a great case but you may wish to consider buying it without the power supply. Mine was so weak on the 5v rail that it wouldn't even reliably boot to windows. It's also extremely loud. My replacement was an Antec because they were out of Turbolinks so I'm not sure if I just got a bad...
I recently purchased one of the Chieftec cases from Newegg and this is the included power supply. It was extremely loud and showed very low voltage on the 5v rail (4.78 at boot). This was with a fairly loaded Athlon 2000XP system. Several times it failed to boot to windows. I RMA'd it and...
Any tried this Internal VCD player for the PSOne from Lik-Sang.com yet? It's only $45 + shipping. Installation looks to be a pain but still for:
$50 LCD from Fry's
$35 Pre-owned PSOne from EB
$45 Internal VCD Card
-----
$130 for a complete setup for Playstation games and VCDs it's pretty...
Newegg says this about all their refurbs but your luck may vary. I ordered the barebone refurbished model and it came with everything including the dvi-vga adapter even though they specifically told me no adapter or cables would be provided. The remote was also included and obviously had never...
I stopped by my local Electronic Boutique tonight for an ac adapter but found out that they were selling pre-owned PSOnes for $35. They're $40 on the website so this may be local only (Carlsbad, CA). Since it includes the adapter you're essentially getting a PSone for about $15-$20 dollars...
I got mine a few days ago. It came with everything except the game software and ulead studio. Neither is much of a loss. It did include the ATI driver disc with all of the ATI software including DVD and Guide+. It had all of the cables and even came with the DVI-VGA adapter. Great deal at...
Just got my ATI 8500DV AIW from Newegg today. It was a refurb bulk. No game software (which is crap anyway) but came with everything else including the dvi-vga adapter they specifically said wasn't included. All of the cables, break out box, and remote are there and have never been opened...
Not sure if it's everywhere but my local wherehouse is offering $1 rentals on all items including new releases, dvd, vhs and all their video games. No coupon required and they didn't specify any limit.
