Problem with tasting your own pee is that there's sometimes things other than sugar in it.....
And if I'm too serious, it's only because I see a lot of patients referred to me with his exact story. "I didn't know I was diabetic, now I'm on four medicines and my sugars are not controlled." If...
Actually, a simple fasting or the A1C can be inaccurate. Best thing is a 75gram glucose tolerance test, with a blood draw at 2 hours. Most patient's don't do that, because of the 2 hour wait.
Companies do give free glucose meters out with test strips. You can do a glucose tolerance test...
I'm an endocrinologist (diabetes doctor among other things).
Your symptom of nighttime hunger may be from diabetes. Some early diabetics actually have low sugars 2-3 hours after a carbohydrate rich meal. This is because their body is making insulin late, and that late insulin is acting on the...
I am actually a diabetes doc, and I concur with BurnItDown. Please go to your local health professional and get your blood sugar tested, as frequent urination is a sign of diabetes, or something worse.
What happens with my card is that there is a whirring at low load, then when the fans spin up during high load there is a loud screeching that changes pitch. Doesn't sound like vibration and the card is very secured on to the case.
Pm their support hopefully they can help.
I went with the haf 915f case.
Fps are the popular ones: cod and some battlefield.
Budget I guess is less of a problem, anywhere from $150 to $350 depending on capability.
So I've been messing around trying to figure out why my video card is making so much noise. It's the fans, probably bearings are bad. I'm not sure which one so I want to replace both. Wondering if anyone had experience and know what size fans I need. Also when I removed the fans there's only...
Just redid my computer and decided to go with a micro-itx haswell setup. However, using my old video card from before, an AMD 7950 with a dual fan stock cooler.
Problem is, with the entire thing assembled, it's awfully loud. I've redone the system, and the system noise comes entirely from the...
Hi everyone,
Building my first HTPC. Mainly used for living room TV machine. I have an HD prime on my network as well as a Synology NAS as media server. Looking to build this machine to take advantage of these things as well as Hulu/Netflix/etc. Likely running openelec/xbmc. I want this to be...
i'm looking to get one of these and it seems a lot of them have problems w/ dvd dual drives and -R burning (which is what I want to use the enclosure for). can someone confirm or refute what these customers claim?
this laptop works well, i'm using it right now. with the radeon 9200, games are awesome. I'm currently playing NFS underground on it w/ no slowdowns at highest resolution/settings
just get the latest bios flash so the keyboard glitches don't happen
temps are stable at 39 idle, a little hot at 52 full load. not sure if that's doing it. maybe i should switch that tmd fan w/ something a little beefier.
is there another program that you suggest is use w/ p4 c1's then? Also, i tried playing some C&C generals at 120FSB (it's a pretty demanding game on the system) and it crashes the game or reboots totally after maybe 10 mins of gameplay. Machine is stable at stock fsb.
Well, I switched it out after my last post. Booted at 122FSB again but froze at windows. Brought it down to 120FSB, and the same thing happened. Error at hour 4.
Newbie here so bare with me. I have recently purchased a P4 2.4A C1. This chip overclocks pretty well in my setup, running stable at 122FSB under Prime95. Now that was before I switched out my Enermax 350W power supply for the antec trueblue 480W that is currently in my case. Now, after...
i called staples and got a very nice csr. she pricematched to BB because they had the same deal as compusa. then, after that, she didn't charge me shipping because best buy had free shipping and staples couldn't get them to me via next day shipping. my total for 2 drives is $163.84. Pretty good...
My computer has recently developed a problem. It does the ram check thing and then afterwards halts on detecting........... and tries to detect the drive. Sometimes it would succeed after a few seconds while other times it would refuse to detect the drives on the primary ide channel. I have...
well, the soyo dragon+ is a board w/ integrated nic and 5.1 audio. also comes w/ a smartcard reader. but the other guys are right, nothing that is kt266a has video. so if video is important, nforce is the way to go.
i am currently running a 750xp. sweet card. anyways, windowsxp will not recognize the gf4 unless you have kept up w/ the updates. i have owned 2 gainward cards before this one (i like red pcbs) and i felt that taking their drivers and installing them, and then putting detonator over it was the...
If you are dead set on getting that ti4600, then you can look for the one w/ the most options. This is because there isnt' really that much of a difference between the performance of these cards. A few points on 3dmark and a few frames on quake III is hardly noticeable. But features like VIVO...
I feel that you should at least have a 300W dependable ps before running a gf4. That's b/c most systems w/ a gf4 should also have a high powered cpu, or the cpu will bottleneck the vid card's performance. I currently have the enermax 330w setup w/ the 750xp from gainward and a axp 1800+. but i...
Here it is. Definitely a typo on the website. For those who can't follow the link, it's to a page where a DC3400 is being sold for $28 as listed price. Now, according to AMEX BLUE pricematch, you can print the advertised price from a webpage and then put in a claim. So I guess all you have to do...
thing is, how do you make it work? I have a gainward gf3 w/ vivo and i have a coaxial from cable. how can i get tv watching on my comp? I guess i need some kind of tv tuner thing that changes coaxial to composite video in. But then, where do i plug in the sound?
