So, in other words, there's no difference in the real world. The sustained transfer speed isn't anywhere near any of those numbers. During bursts of reading what the hard drive was able to stuff in its cache, you'll get a slight difference.

Thanks for the info; my curiousity is happy. ^_^ We started a game pass back in the summer. $20/mo for one game out at a time, or $49/3 mo's. We also have a 2 game out at a time option, but I can't recall the price off the top of my head.

I'll ask my manager if they know beforehand what the schedule is for every title for when it'll get stickered, perhaps a stickering calendar could be made and posted. You can always ask someone behind the counter for a rough estimate for the sticker date of specific titles, or ask if it's on...

At both of the stores I've worked at, you need to have a credit card put on file when you get a card. Yes, it's only use is to prevent you from running off with DVD's (after 50 days of being late, you're charged for the movie; you do get phone calls and letters in the mail long before that)...

The ending is fitting for Eva (and the movie and series ending are the same freaking thing! why does no one get that?). In case you missed the entirety of the series, it is bleak. Just like life. If I wanted a happy ending, I'd watch the latest Disney movie instead.

That's for most states in the US; there are a few with laws that prevent such offers, so you end up with a 7 free rental card, without the one/week restriction.

Is it just me, or does iTunes start up an awful lot of extra processes? AFTER closing iTunes, I had to kill 3-4 processes that it had started and not stopped, one of which was a gearsec.exe (it's the least obvious of them; the others follow an i* naming convention). Then I powered up msconfig...

Cheap CD-R'S 4/27 Best Buy,Circuit City,Office Depot,Target,CompUSA,OfficeMax,Staples,Walgreens

Everyone I know has had good experience with Imation CDRs. They're made by CMC (IIRC, they're the 2nd best producer of quality CDRs, after TY of course), and they have enough QC that they seem to filter out any bad discs.
