Ok I just got my P4B533 running. Right now I got the ram set at 1:1 ratio. The only other ratio on the bios is 4:3. If I change it to 4:3 what is the speed of my ram? And what is the speed at 1:1. I have a 1.6a @ 2.4 with 150fsb and stock voltage.

Its worth it if you plan to o/c it. Do the math, a 2000xp cost around $220. The upgrade chip cost $147. That $70 cheaper. Ofcourse there is still no gurantee that you can o/c to 2000xp level but it worth a shot.

Isn't it true that OCZ rams are just overclocked ram and not actual rams at the speed they sell it for? I heard bad stuff about those rams, that is why they are cheap compare to everyone else.

Try taking everything out except for your video card and see how high you get. Run your computer on IDE. Don't run it with the video driver, just use you OS system driver for now and see. I couldn't get my computer going with my video driver(ATI). It kept rebooting when I get into winXP.
Many people are having the same problem with that board. I would read all the thread about this board. I personally don't have the 8IRXP but I do have the 8SRX from giga. When I increase the voltage to the max, mine will not boot up neither. So this lead me to believe that this is a issue...

I totally agree with you. I was using a Powermax 500w PSU and I can't get it to run stable at 149fsb. So I replace the Psu with an Antec 400w and now I can run stable at 149. But when I touch anything while Prime95 is running I get errors.
