Hard Drive Help

that happaned to me once... I think I setted the harddrive to report only 32Gb and it worked (lost 8Gb on the process but the computer was working) there was a jumper on the harddrive that setted it. It was a long time ago, I really don't remeber the specs.. it might have been a Seagate...

Dual-monitor video cards?

yep, the Matrox G450 looks like the thing to go with. I work in a corporation that creates software for television and every PC here has a G450 installed as the display video card. (we use Matrox Digisuite LE and RT2500 for the graphic manipulation/insertion)

what about reparing it with the win2k bootable cd? if it's a Kernel thingie it might just do the trick. (or not, so but like you said: backup [first] ). Good Luck,

okay, here are my 2 cents: cent 1: Windows has the annoying habit of storing things all over the registry, if you search your registry for "history" or "urlhistory" you'll find quite a lot of entries refering to the history and url history. my advice is not to tamper with it, if you do: first...

W98 "Start" button distorted

Do you use a non-english version? I've seen that happen quite often with other languages. I really don't think there's a way around it, but then again, I never worried much about it. I know it didn't help, but hopefuly it was informative. :)
