I want the 'pictures', biking, and other to take you to different pages. HELP!!
I have Macromedia Studio MX 2004. I can make most of the effects I want to for my simple page...but one. I want to have a simple front page with a title and 3 or 4 buttons on the left. As the viewer rolls the mouse over one of these buttons, an image will appear in the middle of the screen...
I have a simple web page. I want to have just a few links/buttons on the left (3 or 4). As the user rolls the mouse over each button/link I want an image to appear in the center of the screen. A nice fast dissolve in and out would be nice. I've looked at macromedia.com and other places, but...
My sister has a Dell Dimension XPS T450. It was new in '99. She is having trouble with it crashing and illegal operation errors (yes, reinstalled windows). She would like to upgrade to XP, but Dell says she can't with that hardware. Is that true? I've done some poking around and found...
Careful with labeling DVDs. The best way to reduce their compatability is to put a stick on label on them. Worst case scenario the label comes unglued (heat from the lasar) and gets jammed in the player.
One of the great things about the iPod is the ability to play uncompressed audio. I have mine conncected to my car in place of a CD changer. I can store more music than a 12 disc changer (uncompressed) and take it with me. I was about to get a CD changer until I figured out this made so much...
I have poked around there a bit. Most of those people seem to be strictly traditional camera users. I am looking for more of a CCD with PC connectivity rather than a consumer ready portable camera.
I posted here because back in the day I got into a photo debate on digital vs film and a few...
I'm trying to find information on cameras that do UV photography. I've found some good resources, but most tend to use off the shelf digital SLR's. THose are much too 'comsumerized' for what I need. A simple CCD that sees UV light and can be controled by a computer will do the trick. I know...
Uh, no it doesn't. The OTC ones simply bleach your teeth using peroxide to remove stains. No enamel is lost. Higher concentrations of H202 can cause the tooth aching and gum irritation (or so the guys down the hall who make this things tell me).
[qI only care for grammer when I have to turn in a formal report, paper, or I am asked to write in complete sentences. For every other situation I could care less about my grammer.
Spelling too, eh?
These are AAC (MPEG-4) not MP3s (MPEG-1). Quality is much better at the same bitrate. I encoded a 128bit aac, 128bit mp3, and 256 bit MP3 and compared them to the original CD track (using pro studio Sennhieser headphones). The 128bit MP3 I could ID. The CD track, 128bit aac and 256bit mp3...
Like them or not, what TV shows were canceled before thier time.
Some, like X-Files, seems to drag on too long. Others were cut short because of low ratings or high production costs.
(yes, you'll notice a Sci-Fi bend here....)
Notes on literature for lazy students to pass tests written by lazy teachers (my HS english teacher read Cliff's notes too...they would not help on his tests).
Its a moot question. It assumes 2 ideas not capable of esisting in the same reality. The immovable object vs. the irrestable force. We can concieve the two in our minds. However they cannont exist in the same reality. One would cancel the other out. The question is illogical.
As for...
Of what?
The catholic church's corruption is nothing new. Its been run like an Enron for years...centuries even. However the catholic church is only one group. There are many non-profit churches and religios organizations out there that barely make ends meet and when they don't they often...
According to your beliefs those who have a different opinion are not going to face anything after death that you won't. No reason to convince others. According to Christianity those with different beliefs will spend eternity suffering. So the reason all Christians should share their faith...
So will this camera take a better picture of my niece walking in a shadowed feild of flowers on a sunny day with bright white clouds?
We're talking about image quality, not astronomy here. Sure these are great for astronomy where you want to know how much of what frequency light you get, but...
OK, thats supposed to mean what? If they use digital I'm sure it has a whole lot more to do with workflow and application than getting great photographs.
As for the Hubble telescope. Using digital is a bit more convenient than sending a shuttle up there to get the film and drop it off at the...
Again, bases on what....pixels? You missed the point about the contrast. Yes these CCD can see from IR to UV, but what they see is not as desciminating as what film can see. I'll have to find the site where they talk about the eye vs slide film vs negative film vs digital CCDs.
To get the...
First. The 35mm equivolent statement is refering to the size of the image the CCD picks up, not the quality of the photo. Until now, all digital SLRs used a different focal length than film. This created a smaller focused image on the CCD sensor. Effectively what this all means is that a...
In a word...no. The best film camera would blow away the best digital any day. Medium format offers so much more resolution and contrast that it makes digital look like you used a point and shoot. Even a basic 35mm with good lenses can make much better pictures. Negative film has so much...
I'm guessing you are still in HS or about that age. Try finding a new church. One with an active youth group. While some can be cliquey and rude, most are open and full of people who are very friendly. The one I help out with has over 150 kids that come (not all at the same time though)...
These are not the Republican Gaurd. They are the "Sons of Freedom" or some such nonsense. They are mostly 17-24 year old men who are VERY loyal to Sadaam's Son (the one who tortures athletes who lose games). They have little training though. They are used primarily for ethnic cleansing and...
Wefare started out well intentioned enough. But eventually people bagan taking advantage of it. Rather than get a job they stay on welfare as long as possible to avoig working. Not making enough money on welfare? Have another kid (Yes, many people in the inner city do this). The abusers may...
They are called "MacGyver-isms".
Any time he breaks out the duct tape its a good one in my book.
You are right though...production quality is pretty poor. Not really the show though, most shows from that era were about that level of quality (MASH being the exception...all time classic).
Suppose you are at a hotel or other place...you have access to and XM radio like device, what would you listen to? (please make sure you respond with your correct gender!)
Believe it or not, there is a purpose to this!
Wow, Cube! You are talking about the movie where 6 or so people are trapped in a series of cube shaped rooms and some lead to death, others the way out? If so, where is Cube 2? DVD? Sci-Fi?
Do your knees, back and muscles a favor....ask a professional who can show you how to do it right and tell you what you are doing wrong. Most injuries in lifting are from bad technique. Learning good technique can only be done in person with someone telling you what you are doing wrong...
I have JT exellerator 4.0. Decent gun. A little finicky with the o-rings (needs new ones every now and then) but otherwise reliable, cheap, and very accurate right out of the box. If you want the best in terms of reliability get a Tipman. I've played at many places with many people. I...
The Bible disagrees with you. It says (I Peter?) to be prepared to provide an answer if someone asks. The Bible teaches Christians to not only believe, but be educated in their beliefs so that when people ask questions you can provide answers. While most of his questions deal with matters not...
Hope my post was of some help. As for asking a priest...my record with priests is not very good. I know they don't (or at least used to not) open a Bible until year 4 of 7 in priest school (whatever you call it). And many of the priests I talk to rarely cite the Bible as a source, but rather...
