XP and Scandisk. Need quick answer Plz.

When I right click on C: Drive in Windows Explorer and check properties. then press scandisk. it sais next time u restart it will run scandisk. so i restart it starts running scandisk, finishes it then says wait, for the computer to restart. it used to restart but it dont know. Got latest bios...

I have XP Pro and all latest updates, drivers and stuff. Everything been fine cept till a few days ago, whenever I run scandisk it dont restart automatically. I have deleted all temp files, and have lastest updates and drivers, so what can be the problem? Should I format Windows and start again...

Win XP Pro and WNAD.exe?

I got Win XP Pro. I open the sys config util(msconfig), check the startup and find 4 entries for a file called wnad.exe . I searched for it, it had no deatils on it either. anyone know what this is? And whats qttask.exe . Also 1 called winampa.exe . what happen if i disbale winampa, will...

To fix the Crackling sound in UT. Open UT. Press Tab. Type preferences. Under Audio section change sound channels to 16 and change latency to 60. That fixes it.
