Why not buy a Xeon instead of i5 or i7?

I dont mean to open a new thread but my friend is debating between the i7 3770 or the Xeon 1275 on his AsRock Z75 Pro3. Are any of the Xeon's able to be overclocked or is the only solution to go for the 3770?

So my issue is my printer and a few old devices only operate at 2.4ghz. How do I use 802.11ac and 802.11 with older devices? For example my printer won't connect at 5ghz can the newer router operate at a 5ghz / 2.4ghz mode so all devices alcan connect 2.4ghz

Gigabyte + USB 3 = Fail?

Basically giving up on this, I wrote Gigabyte and their response was "use the drivers from our website". Shame I was really hoping to get these to work, I have tried every driver but they just dont recognize USB 3.0 it defaults to USB 2.0 I wonder if its a bios setting that I am missing
