Tiger Direct is an unethical company. They have one of the worst histories in the online sales business. I find it hard to believe that folks still post their offers as "hot deals" and ignore the experience of AT members, consumer fraud organizations, and the BBB.
Beware the Tiger !
"I didn't say they were here yet"
I saw the title but this is what got my attention: "Was in there yesterday and they dropped their 300 watt mono subwoofer amp to $36 from $199. I also picked up the $399 alpine in dash player that does WMA and MP3's for $129. " Sure sounded like they were...
Humble Pie......
I am still trying to figure out why in the hell you made this post. You sent me, and probably lots of others, scurrying to the closest CC. It was, of course a waste of time and gas money. The mgr at this CC stated that they are not going to carry Alpine after Dec 31, but...
" the only problem people have with tigerdirect is its rebates, and ive done fine with my rebates there."
Not true, Redass. They are an unethical company and provide your credit card information to third parties without your permission or knowledge.
"Why does every post involving tiger...

Dave is correct. Best Buy cannot legally overcharge your credit card retroactively simply because they made a pricing error. The disclaimer on their site is not a legal instrument and will not stand up in court. If it were, it would be all too easy for unscrupulous companies...
DiGi2.....I don't think anyone misinterpreted your words. You said you are losing money on every coupon. BS. You are reimbursed for the cost of every sandwich as long as you submit the coupon to corporate - they deduct the coupons total from the cost of your meat order. The coupon requires...
DiGi2 has just one of several different accounts of how this coupon is handled. But, irregardless, this is no different than any other hot deal. The terms of the deal are printed on the coupon. One coupon per person, per visit.
The consumer isn't trying to screw anyone here.
Those locations where the employees/managers are telling folks that they are not reimbursed by Quiznow corporate speak with forked tongues. They are reimbursed for the cost of the sandwich, and they will get some new customers in the process.
I've said it many times on this board - BEWARE THE TIGER-They are an unethical company and they have been known to sell credit card numbers to other scam artists.
Be aware that Tiger Direct is not an ethical company ! The act of removing the cartridges from these printer boxes and selling them elsewhere is just one more example of their money-grubbing tactics. Raising the closeout price from $9. to $39 for the ones with no cartridges is another. $98...
I mistakenly set my CPU/FSB setting in my ECS K7S6A cmos to 166 instead of 133. Now computer won't boot. Have AMD 1700+ processor. I reset the cmos with the motherboard jumper but that doesn't help. Is there a way to get it booted ?
I upgraded my system with a AMD 1700+ XP processor. I mistakenly set the FSB setting in the CMOS to 166mhz instead of 133 like it should be. Now the system will not boot. I have reset the CMOS with JP1 but that doesn't help. Can anyone help me ?
Tiger Direct is an unethical company. They have been proven to sell people's credit card information. They also have one of the poorest consumer ratings in the country.
Tiger Direct has been proven to be an unethical company; they also will sell your private information and credit card information at the drop of a hat Recommend that you try Newegg or one of the other reputable companies that Anand forum folks have success with all the time.
Jasonja.....
Your post was not overlooked. It is just that Tiger Direct is a shoddy company that has been known to sell people's private data - including credit card numbers - to 3rd parties. They have a piss-poor record with numerous consumer protection agencies. Please do not post links to...
Thanks SuperSix. Seems that everywhere we look there is more hard evidence that El Tigre indeed speaks with forked tongue again and again and again. Why would anyone want to do business with or defend their actions and (lack of) ethics ?:disgust:
