I hope Hercules releases a new version of the GTXP with some proper 5.1 support and a chipset which comes closer to the Audigy (even though it is pretty close as it is). I love that box =)

Is 5.1 setup for DVD worth it?

In my opinion, id get the Audigy for sure. While other may do specialised (its s, not z! hehe) tasks better, the Audigy is the best 'all-rounder' card. The new 'Advanced' EAX seems to be much better, and according to the FiringSquad, it is the best option at the moment. The stability seems to be...

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 vs DTT2200

I dont know if this is the right place to post a topic about speakers, but the doesnt seem to be any dedicated sound/speakers topic so here it goes. I have a set of creative DTT2200 speakers...and what can I say, I don't really like them much (they sound just like my old 2.1 altec lansing set)...

OPINIONS: 8500 vs Ti200

Tough decision for me. I live over in Australia so the ATi radeon 8500 is about $100 more expensive then the Ti200 ($550-600 compared to $475 for the Ti200). Yes I know those prices seem shocking to you guys, but it all the same in the end. Either way it is proving difficult to get either card...

Well, the fact that you are running the 8500 fine in XP pro is good to hear. I want to get a new video card, though im a little scared if you will, about running the 8500 under XP home due to all the problems that seem to be about. Does the performance of the radeon still suffer under XP? Also...

OPINIONS: 8500 vs Ti200

As stated this is between the ATi Radeon 8500 and the GeForce3 Ti200. Just like to get everyone opinions on which is better for Gaming and misc. 2D things like watching DVD's. So basically, if you had he option of getting one of these cards which would it be? I know there are many discussions...
