What inputs and outputs are available on your TV? I'm assuming that you have a basic RCA inputs and an RF-in.
Connecting just a VCR directly to the z560. Make the following connections:
- cable from wall (cable tv)/antenna --> RF-in on VCR --> RF-out on VCR to RF-in on TV
- audio/visual out on...
Radio Shack speaker wire is good enough. Monster cable is only 13 gauge. 14 is good enough. Monster, Recoton and Acoustic Research speaker wire are overpriced.
Maybe you need to reset your cookies. I've added the speakers and then closed the windows a couple of times. Each time it remembered what I had last time: quantity, coupon codes, shipping, etc. Either that or see if you can borrow a friend's or family member's computer temporarily to order the...
CompUSA is the only U.S. retailer that I know of that carries the z560. So you can demo them at CompUSA before you buy the speakers. Just to make sure.
Are you just using the 2-channel sound from your motherboard? Does it just have 1 line-out jack for outputting audio? If so, you need to buy the splitter. It's like $4.99 from Radio Shack
You need to buy a 1/8" monoaural splitter from Radio Shack (cat. # 42-2437). It has a 1/8" male connector on end and 2 1/8" female jacks.
Connect this to your male end to your line-out on PC and connect the 2 female ends to the front (green) and rear (black) connectors on the control pod. Turn...
Dell is a member of Ebates. If you use Ebates as a starting point, you can get another $3.99 in rebates on top of the $25 and the 10% off! How cool is that?
What is the coupon code for the 10%?

Search www.xpbargains.com for the term "Logitech" . It's the only link. Though the price is now $174. If you have a 10% coupon, the price goes down to $154 - cheaper than NewEgg. Just hope there isn't a problem with delivery and shipment like everyone else who too advantage of the Dell $115 offer.
It seems your in luck. Someone at 3D Sound Surge Forums had the same problem: right rear brighter than left rear speaker.
The problem:
"I've got a new set of Logitech Z-560's with an Audigy X-Gamer and I've noticed when I test the sound with the surround mixer or the creative audigy 3d sound...
Are you connecting both the front and rear inputs?
Do you have M3D turn on or off? Are you listening to dvds, music or playing games?
Do you the fade button turned all the way up?
You might want to try this:

<< I got mine last friday and a couple of times since then the sub starts making this loud low pitch noise. I turn it off and on again and it's still there. A couple of more power cycles and the noise disappears. Any ideas of what this might be? conections? Or have I got a bad sub? >>

Since the z560 sats are unamplified, you might be able to connect them to the speaker-level outs on the receiver. Connect the z560 subwoofer to the receiver's subwoofer pre-out.
Has anyone connected the Logitech z560 directly to the TV (using the variable audio out, headphone jack, or audio out on VCR) or using a receiver?
Right now, I have the Creative CSW FPS 1500 directly connected to my TV set and looking to upgrade: mainly more bass and sound "fullness".
How do...

Unless I'm horribly mistaken, the sats are not self-powered.
In a normal PC installation, they would get their juice from the subwoofer's amp. >>
I guess I'm thinking of where the problem might arise if you connected that sats through z560 subwoofer after connecting to the...

Also, again, the satellite to be used as the center channel is connected via the center channel connection on the A/V receiver, NOT via the subwoofer speaker connections.

Isn't the center channel connection amplified? I thought computer speakers couldn't be connected to...

On my A/V receiver, I have a mono, line-level out RCA jack for the LFE (X.1 subwoofer output). At Radio Shack I picked up a mono-2-stereo RCA adapter and plugged the Front Left/Right RCA jack from the control pod into this (and this into the receiver). I plugged the control pod...
<< Maybe I screwed something up, but I plugged in all the white line ones to the red cables on the sub and the speakers, and if I put the volume up at all, I heard this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE "buzzing" sound. >>
Most likely the problem was a grounding problem. Obviously, you found out through...
<< I connected the headphone jack of my 7 year old sony system to them M3D unit and from there into the sub and I have connected the speakers from the sub. It seems to work pretty well. I was wondering can i just use the 2 speakers and the sub in my music system and use the other 2 speakers in...
<< You guys know where I can find some cheap speaker wires?? I need longer ones for my rear speakers. thanx!
btw... this thing rocks!! I'd get it even if it's $200.. >>
I buy all my speaker wire from Radio Shack -- 18 gauge -- it works out pretty well.
<< I've got my speakers hooked up to my Kenwood receiver (model #KRV8040-it's about 7 yrs old). >>
What computer computers are you connecting your receiver?
How are you connecting the speakers to the receiver? Via pre-outs? Via the headphone jack?
Can you get 5.1 sound through the...
Connect the 4 sats from z560 to the pre-outs on the DVD player. Then you could connect the subwoofer to the subwoofer pre-out on the DVD player using a Y-cable (thus "not losing the subwoofer channel). To compensate for a lack of a center channel, you can use your TV's internal speakers as a...
