Tell me about your LED light experience

And compare lumens when shopping. I've seen that in CFLs: "Replaces a 75W lightbulb!" Right, i it does. If I get the one that says "Replaces a 100W lightbulb," then I'll get something suitably bright, that has a chance of living up to the "75W" promise. I would imagine that LED light bulbs are...

Upgrading computer, need a good (new or used) 1366 motherboard...HELP!!!!

http://3btech.net/motherboards-ot1.html New MSI and Asus X-58 boards to the bottom of the page. Prices are higher since I got one of the Sabertooths in December. May be cheaper to go with current components. Especially if you live near a Microcenter with their 3570k special.

Windows Screen rotated 90 degrees - How to correct?

If it has intel graphics on the mother board, while holding down the alt+control, press an arrow key to rotate graphics.

Took a while but I finally got an RX-7

Got my RX-7 in September of 1978, it went 270,000 miles without a problem on the engine or burning oil. Very reliable engine at the time.

Ford Maverick.... what's the concensus on that?

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the V8 Monza? The back two plugs were terrrible to get to. I believe we had to undo the motor mount and let the engine down. The fix was to drill holes above the plugs.

Dangerous stuff you do at work

Funny you mentioned HF. I make 800,000 pounds a day in 99.99% strength. Then we have fun and water down some of it to 70% and 49% strengths. Good stuff.

does anyone here have lupus?

John, this pretty much sums it up. It can be mostly arthritis symptoms, to fatal with internal organs being involved. My wife has been in remission once in 34 years, lasted for three years, and then back to the same symptoms. The doctors have no idea what causes it, or what makes it go away...

New PC, GTX 260 has no power - solved!

smoothvirus, on the motherboard just behind the ps2 port on the i/o is a 4pin/8pin power connection. If it is not hooked up the board will not boot.

I totally screwed up my system...

The Athlon XP 2500+ Barton is a 333mhz chip, so the 166mhz setting is correct for the chip.

Christine McVie had as many hits as Stevie Nicks when they were in Fleetwood Mac. Some of her songs went higher in the charts. Stevie Nicks really did much better after Fleetwood Mac, but not with Fleetwood Mac.

I had the same problem last week with the TUL version of this motherboard (TRS780-MI) and I also had the same problem with the Asus M3A78-EM AM2+. For me the problem on both boards was the memory I was using. The 780G motherboards appear to be very picky on the memory. I tried Crucial DDR2...

Newegg's hard drive packaging

I just got an OEM drive in, anti-static bag inside a double-wrap layer of heavy bubble wrap, and a good sized box filled with paper to cushion it. It came out of the TN location. This is much better than it has been from TN. Maybe someone from Newegg is actually reading these posts and...

Yes I have. The orders out of CA are still packed well. However the orders out of TN have been packaged badly. OEM cpu out of TN came in a clamshell thrown in with some foam peanuts with half the pins bent because it came out of the clamshell. Newegg did RMA it, but blamed it on UPS...
