If you mean whether you can tell from the outer box if you will get the 8MB cache "upgrade", no, you can't tell. The outside of the box is for the normal 2MB cache with no special markings. If you do get the 8MB surprise, there will be a pink slip inside notifying you.
I have pricematched to OEM more than 20 times and have never had any problems. 5 of those times have been for this drive alone. I have even pricematched the 8MB cache to a 2MB cache before.

When I copy a formula and paste it into a different cell, the value from the original formula shows up in the new cell. It doesn't matter if I paste special and paste just the formula, the original value keeps showing up, even though the formula is correct (correctly adjusted for the new cell)...
