a8nsli + 2 gigs of Kingston low latency and dual channel

I wonder if this means an end is near for the shortage on the NV45's. I seriously doubt it and am guessing that these few shipments are probably from the holiday surge to ramp up production, but yields have caused failure for those plans.

OK. I broke down and bought the 2x6800gt and 1x550W PSU. I guess I'll be sending back my 6600gt's to newegg. Too bad that in the end, with restocking fees, this is going to cost me $450+ a card.

Asus 6800 Dual Sli Problems

What BIOS? I've been, looking at getting a similar setup and they seem to like a specific beta version (Sorry, I don't remember off the top of my head which one). I hope this helps piont you in the right direction.

I think I found the problem. Diode FB29 gets sheared off of the motherboard one one end (closes to the northbridge) if you attach the through the motherboard mount closest to the northbridge chipset. Off to raido shack to see if I can't get a soldering iron to put the one end back on. This is...

Windows 2000 Loads blank uncloseable window in taskbar?

Where can i Buy Cool Looking Computer Cases

Great cases, TERRIBLE service here. Took them 1.5 months to send out a case that was listed as in stock. Never recieved tehe credit to my cc for the agreed percentage for the inconvenience... but they got darn nice looking cases.

Line in isn't working

Line-in may not be selected as a possible recording option yet in Windows... Directions for default location of adjustment in Win2K (and I assume its the same for other Windows OS's) : Within Windows go to the Microsoft horn in the Systray at the bottom right and open that up (double click)...

Yes, with FDisk and Win95 OSR2 and Win9x and later OS's I believe FAT32 partitions could be created up to 127GB. With Win2K the FAT32 parition limit creation is 32GB (don't know why but it can read/access/mount the FAT32 basic disks created from aforementioned Win9x FDisk creations over 32GB up...

Upgrading, looking for your input/suggestions/comments and have two questions too

Ya I upped a few months ago from P3 500MHz OC'ed to 750MHz and went to XP 1700 on KT266a. Both systems are rock solid stable and I'd say that its a huge performance increase in 3D games and overall raw FPU calculations (like Matlab)... maybe more... if you're a gamer maybe a new video card...

Well I'll be.... 1.1GHz 100MHz FSB P3... that's news to me!! More so than the end of the Duron line being in sight (I never did understand that line and yes I know they were competing with Celerons... but if you're going to spend sub $100 on a duron just get a similar or slightly lower clocked...

QUIETEST 60mm fan for a HSF
