AMD Phenom 9600 and ECS GeForce 6100PM-M2 Combo $169.99

I feel better about the deal now. I got the ECS 780G mobo, has ATI 3200 onboard and uses the 1066/PC8500 memory. A much better board than the one in this bundle. Whew, I hate getting hosed.

Looks like I got hosed? I just bought this 9600/ECS deal at the egg, more like $270. Ouch. Wonder if I could return it. One thing for sure, this things rox right along. I've got 2GB of the Ballistix 1066 mem, I usually just let any new Pr0c/mobo sit running F@H at 100% for a week or two...

So, still have 2GB RAM for it, still have the SATA Raid, AMD3500, etc, just want to slide all the stuff onto a new board. I see stuff at the egg for between $39 and $120. WHat is my best bet? After all the trouble with this board and the cruddy ECS AGP slot fiasco I'd like to find an NVidia...

Help request - information retrieval from old hard drive

What's this about two USBs? Is one of for power? get a different drive case, one that has one USB and uses a wall wart for power. I've never seen one that uses 2 USB. Probably boot from it then.

stupid SATA question

Hi, have a ECS mobo with 2 SATA connectors. Hooked up two identical Seagate drives, nothing weird or unusal about this hardware. It's a RAID0 stripe no parity. XP box. I keep losing the array, machine crashes. Sometimes there's a screen msg about RAID problems. Each time I end up having to...

as I read it this is the Hot Deals forum, not the Hot Computer Deals forum or the Hot Electronic Gadgets Deals forum. And yes, quality breakfast cereals are expensive and a major profit center for grocery stores. Hot deals on this stuff are not all that common. Thanks OP, already loaded up...
