Problem installing ATI Software on my Dell.

ya I just reformatted my HD and I'm having these problems. I'll take a look at that method that looks awfully painful.

Problem installing ATI Software on my Dell.

What gives? I'm trying to install my 9500 pro into my dell, but the software won't install correctly. I click on install from the cd and it does the installation wizard downloading files stuff, then it stops. sometimes it give me an error that says archive can't be opened. anyone have any ideas?

Ah, it seems like my monitor is only getting 60Hz. Anything I can do to change that?

9500 Pro and Dual Monitor questions.

I just got my 9500 pro and I'm running an 18" LCD and a 21" CRT. In dual monitor mode, the CRT flickers a lot. Even when I change the refresh rate all the way to 120 Hz it's still annoyingly annoying to the eye. Especially when I look at my LCD and the CRT is in the corner of my eye. What's...

how long would you guys hold off on buying one of these bad boys? When does the 9800 hit the shelves?

what would happend if I ran out of juice? Possibly damage hardware? Will the computer just not boot up?

I bought a Dell and it came with a wimpy 250W power supply. Am I going to be ok with a 9500 pro/sound card/cd writer/DVD Rom?

check ebay ... they have a few that picture red cards and they say it's the same layout as the 9700.

Does it matter if I get retail/OEM/or the Sapphire version? There seems to be a significant price difference with all of them.

Crucial 512 MB PC2700 drops $14

Check Crucial for a nice new lower price. I just checked this two days ago and it was a little over 100 ... now it's $89.

Video Card Suggestion for dual monitor setup (1800FP & 21" CRT)

ya, I was looking at the 9500 the reason being I always opt for the cheaper hardware (9000 etc), but this time I think I'm going to splurge.

Video Card Suggestion for dual monitor setup (1800FP & 21" CRT)

I need a dual monitor card for a moderate gamer and a 18.1" 1800FP LCD and a 21" Viewsonic (running at 1600 x 1200). What would you guys suggest for me? Radeon 9k? 9.5k? Any input would be great.
