unfortunately 2001 is not going to show that much of an increase because its an older benchmark that pretty much is already at its limits, you'll see a much bigger difference in 3dmark05
its the qos priority features, its supposed to make it so that when the same internet connection is used for different things like voip and onling gaming and such the router will prioritize packets so as to make the most efficient connection. I.E. less game latency, better quality voice calls

didn't see this posted yet, newegg has a evga 7600gs for 99 after 10 instant and 20 mail in. this card has a cooling fan unlike the standard gs and is clocked higher than standard, clocks of 550 and 850 instead of 400/800. should overclock well and is a great price! and actually the core is...
yeah except for the fact I have one powering an ath64 3000+ venice oc to 2.2 ghz, 3 hard drives, dvd, and a 6600gt rock stable, pretty power hungry calculator

there ya go, looks like a good deal to me considering the current prices on agp cards
I pretty much fixed the problems, just an issue of getting the drivers installed correctly and making sure old ones are gone. and its a regular 9800 not pro, seems to be a low overclocker on processor and ram, will do some more testing to find out.
well got a 9800 for about 165 to replace my ti4200, been a while since I had my 8500 so forgot how much a pain in the ass ati drivers are. spent several hours just to get it to work right. its also got infineon memory so doesn't overclock terribly well. now 165 was a good deal I am thinking...
also staples has this for 529.99 with a 30 dollar mail in rebate, if you add in a 50 off coupon found on the web its 449.99 after rebate and free shipping I believe.
well I got it running stable at 144 bus or aprox 2.6 ghz. ran prime95 for 10 hours, then 2 hours of 3dmark2001se, then 9 hours of both at the same time. everything seems to be working well.
