2 monitors and 3 computers kicks off alot of extra heat. In the winter time I usually shut my radiator off (old cast iron ones, yay new england) and just heat my room with my computer setup.
3 way monitor
Browsing the Parhelia information at Matrox they had some photos of a 3 way LCD. Does anyone know who makes these? I've seen them before in Stargate SG1, but I can't for the life of me find any information on the internet about who makes them, or what they are even called...
3 Way Monitor
I've been looking all over the internet for the Make and Model of this monitor setup. Does ANYONE know who makes these? I know I have seen them somewhere else before, I think on TV on Stargate SG1 in the control center.
Please post if you know who makes these, Thanks!

Since we are on the topic of modems, I've turned my 3rd computer into a psuedo answering machine/email station and I am looking for a modem that has Caller ID functions. I got this piece of software that can email my cell phone with caller ID information when someone calls me. Its a nifty little...
I got something from them, but it doesn't look like any type of voucher I have seen, looks more like an adverstisement. I'll scan it later to compare notes with the rest of the ATers.
I still have a celeron 300a running at 450 on a bh6 as my server. I just can't seem to part with it. Its what started me on the road as a hardware junky.
yep thats exactly the heatsink and fan I got, Coolmaster DP5-6I31C. I've only build one other AMD cpu system recently and that was the retail box duron 950/ecs motherboard combo and it wasn't this big.
Its like a 60mm fan mounted on a radiator.
I just got my combo, it actually came with 2 ATA100 IDE cables, and 1 floppy cable. The heatsink and fan they sent is HUGE. I can't wait to get some memory and a decent PSU to put this baby together.
I was just checking out, and I noticed theres a $5 order charge, anyone know what this is for? or are they tacking on an extra $5 for everyone that orders to make up for their coupons they sent out ?
I ordered 2 cards @51 on 1/25 and then 1 card @49 on saturday. I forgot to check the card I ordered on saturday since i was mailing it to a friend of mine in canada, but the 2 I got on 1/25 were both 5.5 ns.
I had the card running at 210 /360 last night doing loops of 3dmark 2001 demo for a...

the way I look at it, for the whole ONE dollar I invested at IGN Direct, I can wait 60 days for 100 bucks. Its sorta like a scratch ticket you have, forget about for a bit and go, oh ya I got 100 bucks.
about a week ago, links stopped opening in IE 6.0 when something pops up in a new window (like a pop up, or a link to another website off this forum) and I can't seem to figure out whats going on.
The only thing I can think of is, there was a link in the hot deals forum about "opt-out" that...
this is the thread reguarding the ECS w/duron 950, I'm assuming its a retail box which in that case it comes with a HSF.

ok I couldn't resist. I was trying not to order one but a friend of mine wanted me to build a system for his GF, so I grabbed an ECS K7S5A w/ Duron950 from Outpost.com for $99 and 2 of these cards, I couldn't resist getting one for myself.
I figure for a value gamer machine I can't go wrong if...
something I clicked on seems to have broken IE 6.0 for me. Now anytime I click on a link (like here in the hot deals forums) to open a new window the link doesn apear for me, it just opens a blank IE 6.0 window with nothing in the adress bar.
Anyone know how to fix this?
I just got my memory, but the CDRs are on back order. The invoice I got with the memory says I was charged 68.87 for the memory. Wonder if I can call and cancel the CDRs now that I was only charged 68.87 and get the 15 dollar rebate.
53.87 for a stick of 512 pc133 would be nice =)
<< But is it ddr? they do have radeon ve with sdr. plus the chipset info says ddr/sdr........ >>
<< Hrm. Good point. It is probably sdr. Does the SDR version perform better than a Geforce2 MX? >>
I was just thinking the same thing myself, would be a nice upgrade for my second computer...
just got back from staples. They were all out of the PD Burners, and I asked about the price matching and they said they would do it no problem. Manager said to check back in a day or 2 incase they get another shipment.
just checked my order status, UPS has my game pad, I ordered with the hard drive, scheduled to be here tomorrow, yet the hard drive was pushed up to 1/10.
oh well, its a good deal I can wait.
I've never even heard of "Bens Bargains" before reading this thread. I was looking to buy a hard drive after I saw a thread on "20% off dell peripherals" so I started shopping around and posted what I bought.
just wanted to add, the 20% off still works. click on the link at the start of this...
I only ordered one time, and got my confirmation email in about 10 minutes. Turned my stepfather onto the deal also since he was looking for a hard drive.
I tried to hold out on this deal but the more I looked around at hard drives the better this looked ;)
was browsing around after I saw the 20% off tonight at dell, put together a deal. Not sure if its hot or not but the least expensive 60gig 7200 rpm I could find on pricewatch was the IBM GXP for $113
60gig 7200rpm - $139 Manufacturer Part# 0C503 Dell Part# 340-6820 <--any idea who made the...
