But the monitor is over 20 lbs, so the shipping promo does not apply. The only time you can get free shipping on this is when it is put on DOTD or clearance section.
I believe this is the same 8x drive that was on sale a while ago for $59.99. It was an rebagged Afreey 8x 40x CD drive. The drive is not very good and I regret that I bought it.
The zeus rebate form clearly states it is for 128MB PC133 Major only. It even list the product ID. So No you will not get the rebate. OTOH, accessmicro also carries the Major version but it is about 20$ more (or $10 more after rebate).
Like I posted, the generic 133 uses LD chips. The module is rated at 7.5ns and does CAS 3 at 133. It might not work above that though.
Micron is the only major US RAM chip maker. So of course they use their own chips. Micron chips are ok, their PCB is also quite good.
They are not that bad in my experience. I ordered a 128M stick, a slotket and a floppy from them 2 weeks ago. They charged 9.95 total shipping and shipped quickly. Items were shipped from 2 warehouses. Both came with nice packaging and no problems. The 128M pc133 stick uses LD chips(-7), so do...
Let's face it, "changing business practice" has nothing to do with it, greed has everything to do with it. No one intended to change the business practice when they tried to order these obviously mispriced monitors. They wanted to get them cheap, that's all. And many already had tried...
I just called their CSR. I unwisely used their account for the first time last night to make a purchase. The overdraft protection was still there (10:30 PST). The CSR told me that they would honor the line of credit if the transaction was made yesterday. I will have to see if they made good of...
If you can somehow get those clueless portals think that both of them referred you, of course you can get both discounts. The only bad thing is that buy.com or any other etailers only gives one referral credit for a sale, and if the portals are half as smart as you are, you probably will not see...
If you go to clonecd's own homepage, you will find out that all Yamahas' do not support DAO raw, so it is not possible to use clonecd to copy protected software through this drive. I have a 4416S (or rather had before it died) with 1.0j firmware, and cannot use clonecd to copy safedisc titles...
NECX.com has ASUS A7V for $135 shipped(using $25 instant coupon you know here to find). It is not as easy to set multiplier as the Abit version(DIP switches), and has no ISA slots. But it does come with ATA/100 and supports 8 IDE devices. Would be good for any budget OCers.
This is a valid service, with competitive rate of return for your business checking account. If you do not have a company, why not register one right now. :)
My 4416s just died a few days ago. Unfortunately it is not in warranty anymore. Yamaha used to have the best burners, but their burners are now out of date... kinda, since none supports clonecd.
I also called buy.com, the guy had no idea if it is new or not, neither did his manager. Although he checked the warehouse the monitor is supposed to ship from, and that warehouse only has new hardware. We will see... Notice the regular item in buy's computer department(which I don't think ever...
This is certainly not AV-195TF, but for 189.99-3% ebates shipped, this monitor is quite a decent deal. It is only average in image quality, and the screen is not all that flat... but if want a 19" and only want to pay 17" price, this is the one to get.
Got 2 here in Phoenix. The sku is 271050. You cannot find it on Compusa web site, but if you call them, they can tell you how many are available in your local store. The shelf price is 39.98 here, though it rings at 9.99.
