    I setup family sharing for my wife and it worked well at first. One day it stopped working and when I tried to fix the issue it said that I couldn't make changes for 90 days. It still didn't work so were back to sharing my Apple ID for everything but iCloud.

    Yes, you can do a complete restore from time machine. I did this once and it is slow as molasses. You will need to boot from your OSX DVD, there should be an option in the utilities menu.

    Intel CPU's used to be all unlocked until, I think, early Pentium 3's. The started locking due to less scrupulous types remarking them and selling them as faster chips. It was pretty big problem back then.

    Sounds like a wireless problem. If you can, plug into the router with a network cable to troubleshoot and see if the problems remain. If that fixes the problem then make sure you have the latest driver for the card and firmware for the router.

    The HP I recently received came with a recovery partition and the ability to burn restore disks. The restore disks consumed 3 DVD's and the program said if I were to use CD's then it would take 20. :Q I tried the F11 option for giggles and it didn't work but the DVD's do work.
