It's funny because the rebate form (just found it) explicitly asks for the UPC from XP Pro or XP Home FULL, or a PC with XP.
So I used the wrong form or there was some indication that they'd take the upgrade UPC (CSR, email, etc.)
Either that or I'm a moron and bought 128MB I...
Can anyone confirm that you needed to purchase XP Home FULL to get the PNY 128mb $20 rebate?
Parago/Staples rejected mine saying I didn't include the XP Home FULL UPC. (I Bought the Upgrade ver.)
It seems like alot of people are getting dinged on this one for a variety of reasons.
Denied Staples $20 PNY 128MB PC133 rebate (XP launch)
Invalid: We did not receive the WINDOWS XP HOME FULL.Orig or Copy UPC for this product
Was XP Home FULL required for this rebate? I thought the upgrade version was enough?
