Thanks for your advice. I just found some USB mod chips from www.modchipstore.com. It says the USB mod chip will fit for all PS models.
Can I just use that one to do the job?

The 1C can still use the USBMod and GS, but I don't think that setup allows for DVDR backups. But, no one I'm friends with has any DVDRs, so my setup is good for now.

My PS2 GT bundles came yesterday. They're brand new! Unfortunately they just came with GT3 game and not the extra controller + memory card. Still a great deal with no tax!

i got one on my samsung with sprintpcs service and reception went up a notch when i'm in my home so i guess it works for some and don't work for others.

The only way they could have charged to your CC was you provided to them, otherwise for them getting it elsewhere and charging without authorization would constitute fraud and the entity that supplied to them such information would also be liable.
