What's Golds Gym run a month, and is it worth it?

My wife was paying $35/month at the local Gold's. She wasn't getting any fitter and seemed to be upset when I pointed out that the $35/mth didn't cut it and she actually needed to attend the gym and workout for it to have any effect. :) Neil
