Hitachi drives have been advertised for $415.99 earlier this week and were sold out almost instantly. I'd think it might be better though to think about two 1/2 TB drives such as the Seagate SATA drives that are being advertised by Fry's on the Internet and in stores for around $120 each...
Most all DEALS that appear on CF bulbs are subsidized by the local utility company.
Thus, unless you live in an area served by the same utility, it's unlikely that you will have the same special going on.
Northern California is served by Pacific Gas and Electric, PG&E. Southern California...
The same day, Friday 10/07/06, the San Jose Mercury News ad has the processor with ECS P4M800-PRO V2 motherboard. for $179.98.
I didn't look it up but it must be an AGP only MB since that's mentioned in the ad.
Ad from SJ Mercury News.
I've had an MX-700 mouse that I bought within a month of when they first came out.
I LOVE IT!
I've put it in the charger every night when I power down the computer itself. I am still using the same NiMH cells in it and often use it for 6 or 8 hours at a time and leave the mouse on the...
Likely they're having a problem finding enough non-native English speakers who are ALSO deficient in the slightest understanding of computers and technology products.
Even in Silicon Valley they had store clerks who knew absolutely nothing and in many cases had a hard time understanding what...
[/b]You too. I have an unopened i560 also. I'm wondering the same thing because I now also have an unopened IP3000 to auction or use.
Truthfully, I've getting awfully tired of the Epson Stylus Photo 785EPX clogs and need for constant cleaning AND expensive ink.
I bought one like it 10 years ago in Japan and have used it half a dozen times. Yes, it's nothing like a "real" tripod but has worked well for me with a LIGHTWEIGHT camera (Yashica T-4 at the time) perched on a rock using the self-timer in the Sierra Nevada. I only used it a couple of times in...
Gotta read to the last of the information...
For Seagate and other drive markers, the exception to the increased warranty status will be external drives, which are subject to the jars and jolts that drives protected by a PC chassis are not. Those drives will still have a warranty period of one...
Gee you must be new to computers! :D
I used to read it when it was published on yellow paper like a very thin newspaper and had just spun off from Shutterbug Ads.
Those who are marveling at the size of these either have short memories or are newbies.
Some of us have been around computers long enough to remember drives this size that were only 10 Megabytes in size and at the time many wondered why you needed so much storage.
Of course that was before...
You mean they finally found enough sales droids who speak English so poorly that the customer has a hard time understanding them and who know only enough to turn on a computer but think they are experts? (I think also having very baggy white shirts and dark trousers with the bottoms dragging on...
I noticed last week that 3.1.7.6, the current version, is the LAST VERSION of DVD Shrink and no more will be forthcoming. Bugs will be fixed in the current version but no new features.
Truly a great program.
I have found a few DVDs that failed the be decrypted using DVD Shrink and Decrypter...
Yup, they still try to check your bags but lately I've been walking right past them without stopping and nobody has YET chased me into the parking lot. I try NOT to go during busy weekend or holiday times though.
I really don't think prices in general are all that great unless something is on...
I bought my wife a Cingular pre-paid phone a year and a half ago and she's been happy with it. Good coverage in this area (San Jose/San Francisco) and good coverage on major routes into Reno and even on the east side of the Sierra in the Mammoth/Bishop area.
There's good coverage the length of...
Thanks, I had already looked for it on FW. I'll see what the counter people have to say. I used a gift card with it for part of the purchase price. I may have to deal with that. HEY, maybe they'll refund the entire price to my credit card and turn the gift card into real money!
Unfortunately I came home with it and THEN discovered the rebate had been pulled and using a link I found elsewhere it had already expired.
Anybody have a link to the rebate that was good through 4/24???
I guess I'll have to return it.
I'm confused by the pictures. If you look at the additional ones it shows a FOUNTAIN PEN as well. Maybe there's a whole family of them?
It's hard for me to believe that anybody'd pay $120 for a BALLPOINT pen. I remember around 1950 when my grandfather showed me the "new" ballpoint pen he had...
Strange for me...
Seems to be forcing me to subscribe to Literary Guild....books sent which you have to either pay for or send back.
Maybe they're telling me they don't like me...
Note that this is not "really" a shredder but actually a strip cut machine. Given enough Iranian radical students and enough time they will recreate your life, steal you identity and buy shoulder fired missles from Russian Arms dealers with your credit card numbers.
If you watch carefully...
I have a vague recollection of SOME OTHER BRAND of iPOD LIKE player for around $100 in an ad within the last 2 weeks in San Jose. I too would doubt that a true iPod would be that price.
I think your friend doesn't know the difference between and iPod and an iPod LIKE device.
He/she probably...
On the same monitor I get the same message when I do a reboot. I always figured it's the "no video signal" message that comes up on so many monitors that lets you know the monitor is working but the video signal isn't getting through. I use the analog input by the way and will eventually get a...
MX-700 mouse is $40 after rebate at Fry's in the San Jose area this weekend.
I love mine but the finish is pretty lousy looking. I guess perspiration on my palm has eaten into it. I guess I should have given it a sponge bath every few days.
I had the $19.99 for a year deal and got a call from them a few weeks ago. They said their charge to my credit card (for renewal) was turned down.
I was annoyed because I never authorized them to continue to charge to my credit card and let them know that.
They sent me the renewal paperwork...
Through TODAY only.
Click through $15 off $50 through 12/31/03.
If you buy both items to get over $50, the $15 savings if greater than shipping costs saving through the other URL.
It also has a small savings in tax if Sharper Image is in your state and sales tax is charged. You save the tax...
We have a Procter Silex which is a real lousy toaster oven. That's why I tried to find a review on the Toastmaster.
However using a toaster oven makes for an appreciable savings in energy use when you're only cooking for two and keeps the kitchen a lot cooler on a hot summer day.
I still look...
I can't find any review on this oven but the following appears to be very similar.
I'd stay very far away from this if it's anything like the one for which there are reviews.
Toastmaster Oven
I just checked and that's the number I've had in my Rolodex for a couple of years.
I also have (206) 266-2992
I've never had to use either of them as e-mail has always worked well for me.
And now they want to VOTE in California elections!
The Feds won't seal the border and they won't pay for the cost of providing mandated services to the ILLEGAL immigrants. Time for another Boston Tea Party?
Nice camera. Great for those who want to carry one around in their shirt pocket.
My brother ordered one as his first digital camera using this deal a couple of days ago. He was so confused by the process that I had to walk him through it.
I was in GoodGuys yesterday and they have it "on...
Most likely the 1/8 ounce bottles that they hand out when you do their tour on Avery Island.
I'd say it's hardly worth the effort to fill out the form if you're a Tobasco Sauce lover. On the other hand I don't like the stuff and the bottle I got when I took their tour dried up leaving a...
