Burning in dual Opteron 244 system with SETI - don't see Set Processor Affinity in SetiDriver

Check in the BIOS to be sure that both processors are enabled. I have a feeling that only 1 is enabled right now.

Do I need SETI Queue?

I hope you don't mind advice from a Team Starfire member? :) I'm sure your teammates would agree and add more reasons to run a Queue. I would recommend it. The reason being that you would have WUs always available to your lab computers if the Internet access was down. It would also serve as a...

I'm sorry to hear your loosing your farm Indy. Maybe when the dust settles you can chane the farm to a pure nocturnal farm or even go with the screensaver version on the boxes although that may be difficult if you have to go machine to machine to do it. Good luck in whichever direction you end...

IndyJaws, This is indeed sad to hear! I too have had a department manager make me take SETI of of some computers even though it was set to run after hours and weekends. The problem came when they had a few people come in on the weekend to do some work and saw the process running at 100%. I...
