Need Some Help with IS7 & 2.4B

Can someone tell me what kind of RAM is best suited for this combo? I'm not trying to break any speed records, and would be more than happy with a 3.0 O/C. Price would be the major concern of mine. Thanks!

What P4 chip is this?

Just got this chip. To the best of my knowledge, it's a P4 1.7... but I can't find anything on the net to confirm this. I've no experience with P4 chips since all my computers are using XPs, so I was hoping someone could tell me what this is, and what kind of motherboard I need :). Pic 1 Pic 2...

Fry's deals come around quite often, especially if you live in SoCal. If you can't build for at least a month, your best bet would be to hold off your purchase. You'd also want to make sure you still NEED the combo in a month's time...
