AV reciever with pass through A/V sound for all my components

I always hookup my Family Room system with choice. There are alot of occassions where inquiring little hands can hurtle some sincere audio damage when using my audio components, so I would like the TV to be functional on it's own - without the aid of the reciever for audio.

I'm going to call again but SPDIF is not important for me, just the audio RCA inputs of each source being sent through the HDMI cable.

I thought so and thanks :) I suppose the only question remains is the reciever of choice. The Denon AVR 1610 seems to fit but noticed on the specifications that it will only convert Analog video to HDMI to 480i so no video conversion scaling to 1080i ( which is not really important anyway )...

Looking for a SFF case

The Lian Li would be my choice but I don't think an 8800gtx will fit. The Qpack is way too expensive in my opinion. I think the silverston is a good choice as well.

Missing File, Back etc icons in folders

I'm not sure if there was some sort of corruption that occurred or an ornate tweak gone bad. I don't even recall when this occurred or what I did but you know the toolbar you have above your folders that has the File, Search, Back and Forward buttons? Well there gone on my operating system...

I attended the Nvidia show on Saturday but was amazed at how little interest the public had on the product launch. I'm not sure if this is due to poor marketing of the event for just lack of interest. I was speaking to the Nvidia representative and he told me that only 300 people signed up...

Wasn't much work. Only took 15 minutes. My GPU cores dropes 10C but that has nothing to do with the mod - just had to do with cleaning out the gpu thermal compound and applying some Arctic silver 5 as well as remove the square sponge they have around the gpu.

I grinded off the feet for the heatsint, drilled 3 areas to accomondate some components on the board thinned out one area where a control chip is as well. Took me about 15minutes :) Running the fan at full speed is a joke but running it at 66% supposedly is not that audible - I'll have to...

Nvidia makes a much better hsf then ATI. I recall the ramsinks hitting the heatsinks perfectley without any gap at all. I modified it and now it's nice an taut. :)

Yeah but alot of gpu water block systems these days will at least use some sort of heatsink on the RAM. Some of the more extravagant waterblocks would even cover the entire surface, gpu, ram and voltage regulators. The point is that some sort of heat dissipation is still important or they...

Why do they use these pads for AGAIN:nono: . The theraml pad to heatsink for the RAM is just crap and if you take a look at these photos with the pads removed there is a significant gap between the heatsink and the ram. What the hell were they thinking!. The gap is .84mm!:rolleyes: Now...

What are you talking about? Read and learn. There is a self imposed cap and APPARENTLY it depends on the usage of a designated area. So if you read between the lines, if you live in an area that users do not download as often or as much, then you will be limited given the average of the area...

Well, that makes a little more sense for page filing. Never did like the idea of setting up a seperate partition just for that. This is what I'm going to do: 6G for OS, Office and a few other programs that I use 10G for gaming 20G for music, video, etc ...and I'll leave the rest for whatever...
