Here's a link to another forum that has a pretty good sum of what happened leading up to the video being posted haha. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=131983753
This type of thing is more common than you think.

Something similar happened in Hawaii but the guy who got abducted wasn't so lucky. He ended up disappearing. They never found his body but all things point to him...
This forum was filled with a lot of people who disliked Bush and was ecstatic for the upcoming presidential election.
I remember all the stuff people spewed, how Bush sucks, how he screwed up the economy blah blah blah.
About a year into Obama's presidency I noticed the same exact things being...
So I read an article from a local newspaper and the gist of it was that Obama is to blame for all unemployment and that due to his Obamacare package this is the exact reason why no one is hiring or allowing small businesses to thrive.
Yup, the Dell CD covers all Dell computers. Although you'll have to install drivers and I used to just go straight to Dell's site using a USB Ethernet adapter if it didn't already have the driver installed.
So was it installed or was the thing you found the actual link to the installer itself? I'd see if you could copy off the installer. Otherwise bug Dell and they should be able to send you a disk.
We use a Windows Server box for our print server. Not sure if you have access to one but if you do, set it up as a print server and you get all the monitoring that you need.
Anyone familiar with SteadyState?
I am trying to implement it here at work for an online banking PC. Basically I have it set to white list 4 sites that our acct. dept use for online banking. It is a stand alone PC which is separated from the rest of our network. Also it is locked down so...
Wish I could help but may I suggest, if you don't already have one, buying a UPS to connect your equipment to? That way you don't "burn" your equipment out so quickly.
What about using Windows Deployment Toolkit?
As long as you don't have a hundred different makes and models, you should be ok. With 3 different models it's pretty easy to setup and configure it to install the drivers, and a set of programs you need installed.
Just a FYI if your laptop has the nVidia video chipset this is one of the first signs of the chipset is failing. Just keep an eye out if it is indeed the nVidia chipset you have.
I definitely agree with what you said about the know it alls. I definitely didn't present myself that way then nor now. I am as humble as can be and am all about learning anything and everything. I worked with many people who would finish my sentences for me or would hear me asking another...
If you have Acronis you can use the universal restore feature which removes the storage drivers and you may have to reactivate Windows and some of your programs.
Even with 70lb of pressure you can move the heat sink around. I tried it and was surprised by that to. I just tested my setup by installing a regular retail Intel heat sink and fan and the problem remains only my temps went up a tad bit. So my CPU seems to have a problem but if the lower two...
It appears that cores #1 and #2 are stuck. They both stay the same no matter what, never change. Also when I Prime the system even at 1.3v, cores #1 and #2 stay at 71c from what it is now and never go above that, ever. However, cores #3 and #4 both vary and go up from what it is at idle to...
That's idle. Overclocking it results in the 70 going up to 73-75 max with the chip @ 3.6 with 1.4 for the CPU voltage (under Prime95).
Should I be concerned or looking into an RMA?
That fan is older, yes, that is dust. I'm not using it, that was really just a small test. I've having problems though. Cores #1 and #2 are reading 70 degrees celcius with Real Temp and this is idle. Upon using Prime95 the two cores that are reading high still at or around 70-71 max and then...
I just got mine last night. I have it connected to a QX9650 and an ASUS Rampage Formula motherboard. Installation was pretty painless. The motherboard was already out of the case. I am having some troubles with the temps reading higher than what it should be but it appears it has to do with...
Jimbo the thing is they do expire per se. They are not supposed to be used past that one year. If you continue to do so you're in direct conflict of the EULA. Sure if you continue to use it you will be able to but in reality, if you can afford it, you should renew your TechNet sub. That's...
I would not doubt that they are related to a TechNet sub. The keys in the regular TechNet subscription are retail keys. They are not OEM or VLK. It's disappointing to see them being resold for profit on eBay. I would really hate for MS to shut the program down due to this happening. I have...
Actually it's just two cables that I want sleeved. It's very similar to a molex however again, the size is 1/2" in diameter flat.
I have been reading up on the Murdermod style or whatever it is but ideally it would just be a 1/2 - 5/8" sleeve. I just need to know if I should get the same...
