I have a read reciept in my outbox. It keeps showing that it won't send, thusly locking up my mail account. the recipient says he's recieved it.
I have tried to delete it from the outbox, move it to another folder, etc. to no avail.
As long as it shows up in my outbox i can't receive mail...
Don't laugh... here at work we have 10 computers. All run W2K. All have Word Perfect 10 AND Word perfect 5.2. We use 5.2 to insert text into AutoCad 2002LT drawings. Works great EXCEPT for one machine. Get a WPCDLL error causing stack fault in KNRL386.exe so 5.2 won't open. Gives a insufficient...
yep! all are attached. Also, when computer boots, the drive initializes with a buzz for a sec as usual. Windows can't find it, though. Really hate to format, but I KNOW that will fix it. Any other options?
I have a P-3 500 on a Shuttle HOT-661 mainboard (BX-440 chipset) running W2k. After installing SP1, the floppy is not installed. I get an exclamation in device manager that states windows cannot install drivers (code 31).

Is there a way to disable or bypass the network password prompt when rebooting w2k?
I don't use a password and would like to have windows finish loading without having to hit enter.

Currently backing up approx 14G across ethernet takes 7-8 hrs. The computers here are not the newest and boss won't buy much new hardware. Would a USB harddrive and a USB card be any faster than trying to transfer across network? Just need some ideas as to alternatives.

I have installed a burner in one of the machines in our office. Works great. Under W2000, can I access the drive from another computer in the office? Will Nero find the networked drive or only native drives?
