I forgot to mention that my buddy and I also tried a different PSU, and that didn't do it either.
And now:
Well I tried pulling out the motherboard battery for 30 seconds, put it back in and it's still failing to show anything on the monitor..
Any other ideas? Is the motherboard shot??
We checked the CPU. He had a spare cpu laying around and we swapped that one with mine and that didn't do it either. We tried booting with just 1 stick of RAM, too, so we've ruled them out.
I will try clearing the CMOS by pulling the motherboard battery and report back.
Thanks.
It must be receiving a signal, because it's just plain black. I went to a buddies house this afternoon and we swapped out the RAM, video card and even the processor but none of them fixed the problem.
Is it safe to say it's the motherboard?
If I try and turn my computer on, it will power up, I can hear the fans running, etc., but nothing will show up on the monitor and windows won't boot.
I've opened up the case and noticed a green LED right next to the RAM, but if I look at the motherboard manual, this is the "VDIMM Power LED"...
use holiday@sprint.com
It was from a promotion earlier this year, but it's still valid.
I also want to mention that I've been on SERO since April and I called yesterday to add unlimited text messaging and the rep took care of it in 2 minutes. I had been paying $5 a month extra for 300...
It's not listed on the SERO site yet, but hopefully it will be soon. I already have SERO, so does anyone know what is the best way to go about getting one of these!?
The Blackberry 8830 is now available for Sprint!! I've been waiting for this phone to make it to Sprint for a couple months now. It's not listed on the sero site, though. I wonder if it's available. Anyone who's in the market for one want to give it a try and report back?
I already have...
I need to know if there's a word descrambler that I can find online.
If I have a group of letters, I need it to make multiple words out of it. So, if I have a bunch of letters: h f w s u e t a i t a, and I ask for 2 words, it will give me all possible combonations of two words with these...
I've never had a credit card before.
I need one to fund a trip to Europe.
I plan on paying it off completely when I get back with my signing bonus from my new job.
What are my options? Can I get one with 0% apr for the first 12 months?
Please advise.
Well, I'm looking for a way to lower the rates and if consolidation of these private loans to lower payments and the rates is possible.
Otherwise, yes, this is the smartest option(duh).
I consolidated my federal student loans and locked into a low interest rate last June(at ~3%), but what is my best option to take care of the 40k in private loans that are at 7-9% interest rates.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
1. In my experience, Motorola phones have had superior voice and speaker quality than others.
2. The Q's screen is incredible. I'm sure the Treo's is too, but the Q's is fantastic.
3. It's .45 inches thick => pocketable = love it.
4. Cheaper.
I'm going to Scottsdale with a couple buddies over spring break (March 17-24) and we want to book our tee times soon. Where can I find the courses with the cheapest greens fees?
We plan to play during twilight hours to save $.
Thanks.
I just tried to sign up with the sero plan and checked my order status about 15 minutes after I placed the order. It said I have been approved, but I need to call to get the order to ship today. I called and they are wanting me to put down a $150 deposit that they will refund me in 12 months...

Parents have new hdtv.
Just got the new cable box supporting HDTV.
Can someone link me to a cable that will work for them?
I don't want to ask at best buy and pay $100 for a $15 cable.
Thanks a lot.
Here's the deal. I'm going to have about $40k in student loans and they're all private loans @ ~ 7% interest. I'm interested in taking out a new loan to pay these off at a lower interest rate closer to 5% if at all possible.
What are some options?
Here is the reply I received from SERO:
The Motorola q will be available for the SERO program by either late February or March.
We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.
Sincerely,
Jay...
I see that Sprint is now carrying the Motorola Q. Is there a way I can get the Q with the SERO plan? It's not listed in the phones section on the order page.
This is great news. However, the "special public offer" has ended. You can no longer use savings@sprint.com as a referral address.
Googling an @sprint.com email address still works, though.
