SB65G2 Making strange noises.

Thanks. I did notice the pitch of the "whine" changing whenever I scrolled with the mouse. I read the thread that you linked me too. Sounds like a lot of people are having this problem.

I just set up a SB65G2 and a high pitched noise eminates from the HEAT PIPE fan area. The whole case vibrates as well with the strongest vibration coming from the fan area. Anyone else with this problem? I removed all drives to narrow the noise down to the fan assembly.

WD1200JD making whining noise

Any of you run into the WD1200JD 120GB SATA drive making a whining noise that changes pitch every time the drive is accessed?

W2K Home network trouble

Thanks. I tried it to no avail. I get the same error. I think it has something to do with the difference in the default shares of each machine as I described above. Do you happen to know how these shares are set up? (ie IPC$, C$, and ADMIN$)

W2K Home network trouble

I have two W2K machines on an office lan. Both are connected to an SMC router/hub to share internet... Internet works fine on both machines. I have the network settings the same on both machines, however, machine #1 can see shared folders on machine #2, but #2 cannot see shared folders on #1...

Can someone tell me how to FLASH MY BIOS? (step-by-step)

Do any of you know how to make a boot disk from W2K? The only thing I found how to do was make the 4 start up disks for W2K. I need to flash my bios also! Abit BX6r2 (have never updated the bios) Thanks.
