So here is the setup, eVGA 7600GT with a DVI and analog output. I'm running the DVI to my Fijiplus FP-768 LCD(through a DVI->VGA adapter as the LCD doesn't accept DVI) and the analog output to some old CRT. I'm on Vista Ultimate. Also worth noting is the LCD is setup as the primary display...

No, it was there. I swear my roommate and I searched for it last night but didn't find it. My roommate just went home on his lunch break, located it and plugged it in. Posted just fine.

The only connectors that I have other than IDE/SATA are the 20pin with a 4 pin splitting off from it and a 6 pin. I have no other 4 pin connector. EDIT: And yes, it's now obvious to me that that 4 pin splitting off is to make the main ATX connector either 20 pin or 24 pin. Futher EDIT...

It's funny that you mention that. Just last night I realized that was a missing piece. I went to plug in the 4 pin ATX_12V power only to discover my power supplie's manual didn't give the right color wires for its pin out. I plugged it in staying consistent with the way I plugged in my 20 pin...

AMD Mobile 2600+

Question: I did it successfuly and multiplier is 15x. It runs at about 38C and reboots upon login screen for win2k. My problem is that I set voltage to 1.6 I think I should try 1.65. Is it necesary that I set voltage by shorting pins? I can't just do it in bios? :\

Ok, so this isn't my motherboard specific, but I want to run it at 1.6 volts, 166 fsb, and 15x. So should I use those values for the guide and try to short all of those pins?

Now, when you say one piece of wire, you mean one tiny piece of wire right? this thing is tricky. edit: didn't work, but following what you said, the 2 pin short, the guide says that works for up to 12.5x. are you sure I'm not supposed to use a different guide?

Specs AMD Mobile 2600+ Epox 8k3a (kt33a) 512 stick of pc2700 crucical So I set fsb to 166 and I tried to put multiplier to 15 but when I do and save changes to bios, upon bootup it resets to 5x. The max I can set the multiplier to is 12.5. Anyone familiar with the 8k3a board? suggestions?

I have a win2k machine with IIS 5 i believe. My problem is, whenever I have it seems more than 4 active connections on my web server my computer either reboots or I BSOD with a problem with hall.dll I am behind a DI604+ router and a POS compusa switch. I have no idea what could be causing...

Oh man, thanks a lot! I am so stupid! We had recently disconnected the computer from the network whose printer I was sharing, and it must have been looking for it whenever I loaded up word. I deleted the driver from my comp and it works like a charm. Thanks :)
