    its look like the noctua nh-u12P se1366, maybe a little more efficient. under 70°C @ 3.8, it does a good job i wonder if my noctua with a dual 120mm fan will do a better job face of your thermalright...

    The EPoX 4G4A+ seems very promising.

    i think an Antec TruePower True430 is a good choice. it is a new model with an integrated voltage regulator. fine:) if you have few buck more you can go to the True550. (Enermax are very good PSUs but they are alot more expensive. :frown::confused:

    hey a bit cheaper but a bit faster. that seems normal... the specs precise a voltage range (2.6V-3.0V), not a necessary voltage of 3v to work...

    no i dont think so. it's a physical issue related to the design of the motherboard. i dont think you can correct that with a software updade. IMO.

    well, THUGSROOK just said before that he tried a huge overclocking bootup (3.2Ghz) which required a highly vCore voltage. & *Ouff*, its processor is safe. (he didn't fry it during this test). :):cool: btw, what vCore voltage did you use for this OCing?

    you have to lock the AGP & the PCI busses to succeed the overclocking. :) if you haven't locked both busses (AGP & PCI busses), this is certainly the source of your issue.

    due to your configuration choice i believed you would overclock it. in that case it is not necessary, the stock HSF is sufficient.

    sorry man but not. the SiS645DX chipset is fast but not as fast as the i845G from Intel. alot of Good Luck for your Gigabyte overclocking.
